All those cookies jars and basically no cookies seems like a miss but the coffee is good and I actually really appreciated the board with the definition of different coffee and espresso recipe proportions for those of us who only know what SB calls these drinks. Spoiler alert, what SB calls it is probably inaccurate so don't order that macchiato unless you know you're not going to get the latte that you expected.

The service was amazing! The person at the front, Aiden, was doing everything! The register, drinks, helping customers, cleaning, collecting dishes, and Aiden was very kind! The decorations of cookie jars were very cute and charming. The food was also very good! The fries were fresh and hot and the burger was very tasty! I'm surprised when I went around 7 there were only a handful of customers. I highly recommend this place even if you are not staying at the hotel! The drinks were very fun and cute. I did not take a picture of the menu but the SpongeBob art and themed drinks were a very nice touch! This place takes crimson card too!

Demogorgon smoothie was delicious, but a little smaller than expected.

Really cool space, loved the vintage cookie jars. The mocha was just ok, the issue was the wait. For having 3 people behind the counter and no line of customers a 15min wait is too long for one drink.

Extremely nice lit and very open sitting arrangements. A very good place for hangout. Although food is little pricy, considering it's perhaps connected to a hotel. Good experience overall.

Excellent atmosphere, service and food! We had the classic breakfast (2 eggs, sausage or bacon, buttered toast) and hot chocolate, as I was just coming off a 12 hour night shift and home to bed soon! Wonderful high ceilings, comfy chairs and couches, cookie jar collection! Am keen to come back and try more food and coffee!

I don’t usually leave reviews for any place but my girlfriend and I were thoroughly impressed with this shop. Very cute vibe with oldies rock and a plethora of cookie jars. We ordered a lot of food expecting very small portions, but they were surprisingly very large and we had to take some home. We loved the sweet potato fries, fried pickles, and especially the traditional coffee. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth what we paid for the quality and quantity received. The staff was very attentive and sweet as well!

Ultimately took 50 minutes to get two breakfast burritos and the staff failed to make it right at every step of the way. -They entered the order incorrectly, even after I literally asked what went in their breakfast burritos. -They called my name but when it was the wrong food items, they said it was someone else's food and mine should be up shortly. -30 minutes post order they realized their mistake and sent the request to the kitchen. -The kitchen put my order at the end of the queue. -When I tried to speak to the staff about the issue, they simply said they were busy and ended the conversation by walking away! Incredibly bad customer service. That was my first and last visit to Poindexter.

The barista taking my order got on all fours and began barking at me and sniffing my toes.

Can get congested with students, but I respect their coffee game -- can actually get a traditional macchiato (shot or 2 of espresso with milk foam spooned on top) instead of what Starbucks *barf* has cannibalized the drink into. Great place to chat after attending an early (7-8 a.m.) AA meeting at the next door church!

Huge space with huge windows, lots of tables and space to spread out, perfect meeting or study spot.

Great space and vibe. Creative seasonal menu. Stopped in today with a couple friends. We placed our orders one after the other. First person’s drink came out in about 5 minutes. Second person and I waited about 12 additional minutes before being served. Instead of making our drinks they dumped the tip jar on the counter to count the AM tips, then proceeded to stamp the coffee sleeves. No drinks were being made at this time. Group of 4 comes in after us and orders sandwiches and drinks. They were all served about 5 minutes before our drinks were being started. And sadly, the 12oz hot chocolate I ordered was basically steamed milk with zero flavor. I so wanted to like this place, but sub-par service with a flavorless drink left much to be desired.

Service stinks! Completely ignored us and did other things AFTER they took our money. Heard them bragging about getting drunk last night.

Fairly large, nice-looking space with lots of spots to work. The service was good, and the prices for coffee and pastries seem to be about on par with what those cost in town these days. DO NOT get their pastry, it's clearly just microwaved from frozen and is soggy junk. Don't even bother with those. Drinks are fine, nothing to write home about. I'm surprised this outlasted the Pourhouse, which had similar amounts of workspace but with actually edible pastries.

The coffee is AMAZING!!!! And the speedy service is Definitely a PLUS (especially because I was close to my bus departure time). Located less than 2 minute walk from Bloomington Transit... which makes it even better!
