I am very sad to be changing my review of this shop. I have supported this shop because in addition to good coffee, it is woman-owned and ethically sourced. However, the owner recently slashed wages, and I can't support THAT - particularly in a town as expensive as Bloomington. The employees have always made this shop a cut above the rest, and I don't see the experts sticking around, when they can make more elsewhere. I'm sure the coffee is still good.
'sparrow' iced latte with oat milk is wow --- my new favorite drink in town :) needmore has always been high on my list, but the sparrow this past weekend really did it.
Your barista was right! Best Light Roast Pour-Over I've ever had! "18 Rabbit" is a must-try for light roast coffee lovers.
Lovely experience! The place is decorated nicely, the staff are polite and positive, and the coffee is delicious!
The atmosphere of the coffee shop was warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and a cozy ambiance that made it easy to relax and unwind.
The quiche was perfect and I thought the honey and sea salt latte was delicious. The space is inviting, the perfect place for a sunny, but chilly Saturday afternoon.
Always great coffee. Honduras 18 Rabbit is a stellar light roast
Nice baristas. Tasty drinks. Hella pricy.
Nice little business that was busy but despite that I got my chai in less than five minutes. The lady ringing me up was kind and patient with me. I would go again.
Good place to grab a coffee and get some work done.
Love this place! The staff are very nice people and they take good care of their customers & employees here. Great coffee and a very nice for meeting others, super fast internet, and a good place to work.
Their coffee tastes good but the new price for iced americano 20oz $7.5? is ridiculous. I will probably not go again.
Cute and cozy coffee shop tucked away from the rest of town. Plenty of different places to sit, lots of sunlight, good outlet availability. Quality of drinks is high and food is decent as well. They were out of sandwiches the time I went but the quiche was great.
Having discovered this coffee roaster online during Covid in a search for loval roasters to support I was delighted to have the opportunity to finally visit in person. The space is small, but quite cozy with a variety of imaginative coffee and tea drinks on offer (along side simpler traditional offerings). Service was very friendly and the coffee delicious. This roaster consistently produces well roasted beans that produce a delicious cup brewed at home. Woman-owned and dedicated to giving back to the community I am delighted to spend my coffee budget here!
I loved the experiences I’ve had. The ladies are always friendly (it’s a woman ran business, which is odd marketing. Who cares who you are, just do your job correctly), the teas and coffees are great, the atmosphere has a relaxing home feeling, and it beats the new world attitude and views being pushed by Starbucks. It’s nice going into a coffee shop to relax and not see it as a politic establishment.
Always my first and favorite coffee shop in Bloomington. Decent amount of seating, and the best cortado I've had here.
Can't comment on the food, but they know what they're doing with espresso here, which unfortunately can't be said for many other coffee shops. They also sell beans at a fairly reasonable price (and with a complimentary cup of coffee).
As of Aug 16, 2022 this is still our favorite coffee shop. If you actually like to taste the COFFEE in your latte, this is the place to go. Perfect mix of stout versus sweet. We drive 20 minutes just to come here. Service is top notch as well.
Nice atmosphere and good drinks. The specialty lattes and unique and tasty!
My spouse likes the coffee but the only thing I’ve had there is the Iced Tea and it was AWFUL. Too bitter to drink, and a waste of nearly $4. Won’t be back.
