This is a beautiful coffee spot along the river with a fireplace inside that has a roaring fire in the winter. They used to have a lot of gluten free pastries from Brown Butter bakery and that has sadly been discontinued now. Hopefully they will bring back those pastries as they were absolutely delicious and a wonderful addition to their coffee!
Sub par experience. Both drinks were watered down. The food was mediocre. There were flies all over the windowsills and made it very unappetizing it eat. Over priced for the experience. Kind customer service though!
The ambience of this place is nice and I’ve had the avocado toast in the past that was delicious, but yesterday, the matcha I ordered was not good. It was watery (not enough oat milk) and the matcha was not mixed in completely. I was disappointed with the matcha.
Vegan menu available, delicious food, friendly staff, portion sizes are small, nice ambience

We stumbled upon this little gem. The wraps and dessert were delicious. I loved the blackberry chai latte as well. Looking forward to returning.
Wow. I admit I've been scared to try this Café. I assumed everything would be made of carrots & oatmilk. I had a delicious iced Chai latte with raspberry syrup & avocado toast made on top of toasted sweet potato. Though my plate was a little smaller than I'd want, I was blown away by the flavor & experience. I'll be back for sure!
Very cool place to grab a good coffee and they have a vegan menu. Super nice staff and chic atmosphere.
Had the almond joy and was it amazing! Taste just like the candy bar. Also had the ham and Gouda croissant and it was delicious! My daughter had the chai tea and chocolate chip cookie and she said it was really good, when can we come back! I highly recommend Kava Diem!
Awesome place! The food is delicious and the coffee is pretty amazing too. Great menu selection (including vegan) and they use only quality organic ingredients. Staff is super helpful and very pleasant. Cozy place to hang out to work or visit with a friend. I don’t even live in St. Charles but it is worth the trip every time. Highly recommend!

I was a little leary at first. Decided to try them anyway. Glad I did! Food was delicious. Service was great. I'm definitely going back! Can't wait for the patio to open.

Wonderful coffee and great atmosphere! The food is absolutely delicious as well but I will say their breakfast sandwich is my absolute favorite thing :)
This place is amazing and beautiful but we really were angry and upset when the food came and hour and 10 minutes after we ordered it 😓, we are visiting from out of town and got frustrated with the time wasted, they apologized but they should have told us that they are short Staffed in advance so we can decide

Had a beautiful breakfast with family during a freezing morning! The place a super cozy and warm and has healthy delicious options. We had some eggs and avocado toast and a pastry for dessert. Coffee was delicious. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.
Management changed and you can tell! The vegan menu used to be good, but no more. They changed the chickpea scramble to a tofu scramble and it’s the worst tofu scramble I’ve ever tasted. Hash browns used to be great, sigh. Plus food took forever and came out cold. Sad!
