Great breakfast, good amount of choice and gluten free option!! Iced coffee is super good, sweet staff.
Had the turkey croissant and it was amazing! The portobello fries and blueberry latte were also very good. The iced latte had coffee ice cubes which were a nice touch
Definitely worth the stop. Good food and very reasonably priced. The bakery items are an absolute must
Hands down the best place for breakfast in the area! Wife and I purchased some delicious food and awesome souvenirs in this cozy-homey-welcoming restaurant. If you are visiting Starved Rock and want some amazing food, Nonie’s is the place!
Great food and wonderful hospitality.
Excellent cold coffee and food was great!
I have the croissant with 3 types of meats and a cappuccino hazelnut coffee and both were an excellent taste. Absolutely loved my food will definitely go back again.
Pancakes weren’t very good. Maple flavored syrup instead of maple syrup. Paper plates with plastic utensils. Microwavable bacon. Best thing I ordered was water.
Really cute little bakery with tasty breakfast food and pastries. Coffee is pretty good as well and there homemade treats for puppers.
It's a cute little place with eclectic style, delectable eats (not just pastries which are huge and yummy, but an extensive comfort food breakfast menu) and drinks like fancy coffees... But beware that some drinks may be too sweet for some people. Their chunk of chocolate cake rivals Portillo's and the staff is wonderfully friendly. Also, it's somehow bigger on the inside than the outside, like Dr. Who's TARDIS.
iced caramel macchiato are so good! the girlie was very nice and kind, food was delicious and came out fast. feels homie and cozy, 10/10 recommended love supporting small businesses
Friendly crew. Neat little place. Good stop in the way back after a good hike.
It is not an exaggeration to say everything is good here. Nonies has the best breakfast in town. I highly recommend the Spicy Avacado Croissant, and the biscuits and gravy. Today I had their sausage breakfast sandwich on homemade biscuits for the first time and it was fantastic. You need to save room for a pastry because they have something different every week. If you want a pastry make sure you get there early because they sell out fast. Nonies has indoor and outdoor dinning. Nonies is a perfect place to either start or end your morning at Starved Rock. If these pictures and reviews do not make you hungry I do not know what will!
Amazing food! Biscuits and Gravy were amazing, cherry turnover was great, and get the cherry cheesecake croissant! Amazing! Such a good place!
Great specialty latte flavors! Would def go back.
We were in town staying at the Lodge and googled breakfast places in the area. Nonie’s came up and it ticked all the right boxes, so we had to try it! So so good! My husband and I split the meat lovers croissant which I was hesitant because meat lovers options aren’t usually my go to. But it was so good! Just the right amount of meat. The biscuits and gravy are some of the best I’ve had. My husband loved that the coffee in his iced coffee was made out of coffee. Pretty cool idea. We split the key lime bar and it was very good. We’ll definitely be back. Plus the prices were good.
Stopped here after a weekend in starved rock before heading back to Chicago. Good breakfast food. Friendly and quick service. It was perfect for us after a morning hike.
Good food, recommend the biscuits and gravy! Pastries were popular. Only 4 stars because everything is served on disposable plates, utensils, cups, straws...too much trash for a sit down meal
Drove over here from Starved Rock to get breakfast and found a sign on the door stating they’re closed until February 8th. Is there no way for restaurants to update their hours on google so customers know in advance they aren’t actually open even though google clearly states they are?
Best breakfast sandwich! Good espresso drinks and bakery items too!
