Great place for breakfast in the carbondale area!
Food was delicious and waitress was very nice! The air conditioning made it freezing in there but otherwise a great atmosphere.
Staff is very nice and easy to talk to! Good isn't bad at all. Definitely worth a visit.
Mothers Day.... Place was packed. I believe the cooking staff were over their heads today. Half of my table complained of either cold food or over cooked food. My protein wrap was not cooked all the way thru... tho the wrap looked fine on the outside. ( pic ) Hashbrowns were cold.. maybe left too long in the window. I did not finish it. My hats off to Deanna G, our waitress... a real trooper... she was busy. I give her credit for jumping in on this busy day. The 1 star was just based on my food experience.
I truly appreciate what they have to offer both in menu items and quality of service. Breakfast is what I have enjoyed there so far, a few visits. You rock..
Very friendly! That was our first time eating there and it was really good! I had the Reubens which was excellent!
I have always had exceptional service at the Sunny Street Café. Last time I went, my wonderful server came outside and filled my to-go mug with coffee, after she opened the door and reminded me that I had asked for some. Such a kind, sweet gesture. Such attention to customers is so nice to find these days. Definitely be coming back. 🌞☕
Food used to be good, not anymore. You can't make cheep Food good. Bacon used to be thick and tasty. Now I'm not sure what that was thay tried to serve me! The Bacon was thin full of grease and taste awful!😫
Food is tasty, service was good. Coffee cup had lipstick on it. Problem is pricing. I understand prices are going up, but $5.15 for a side of 3 slices of thin bacon that did not come with the $12 pancakes, or the $5 side of hashbrowns that was not offered with the $14 plate of biscuits and gravy is ridiculous. I guess it goes with the $3.77 cup of Cafe coffee that was provided in a dirty mug. 😳 Didn't expect a breakfast bill of $46 at a small breakfast Cafe in Carbondale.
The hearty breakfast is enough for 2 people... and very tasty.
When I'm in town, this is the place I take my mom for breakfast. The know how to cook a soft scrambled egg for my mom and the wait staff here are super friendly. Good breakfast selection and the home made corned beef hash is awesome.
Besides the fact their Chiefs Fans. This place is the best😉

Went and got 3 different breakfast meals. All were extremely tasty!! Crunchy french toast, breakfast sandwich and big breakfast meal - all great! As Tom and Donna from Parks and Rec say... "Treat yo self!" You'll really be happy you did.
Visiting from Florida. Tasty food and great service! Much better than the other breakfast spot we tried last week.
Always amazing food and service.
Always a great meal. My wife went with the banana bread oatmeal. My omelette had sausage gravy on it. Need I say any more. It was fantastic! Worth checking out.
