I love the Peaks, but this time they were peanut butter peaks so I couldn't have any. But the iced brownie was great. And the Chorizo Cheddar Quiche was amazing.
Catered a huge event for our student group at SIU. The food was great and portions were large! They were very friendly and accommodating. They literally have the best desserts in town. :)
The baked treats here are always tasty. I'm a big fan of their doughnuts, canolis, and macarons. The iced chai latte I ordered today was pretty mid, but service is good and the local art they sell is lovely. They're involved with the community and are a very nice bakery.
I bought some frozen beef and barley soup. It was amazing. I love their carryout frozen food. It definitely tasted homemade and extremely did I say extremely delicious.
These are photos of our custom carrot cake order. The decor is beautiful, and incredibly detailed. The texture and flavor of the cake was outstanding. The service was incredible as well. Picking up the cake, I was able to pull right up to the back doors of the bakery. It was professionally sealed in a sturdy, windowed box before one of the bakers brought it outside and carried to my vehicle for me. They let me look it over, and then took the time to find where to set it in my vehicle for the easiest and safest transportation. 5 stars. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. We’ll be back. We felt very taken care of.
Hoping they open up inside again. Used to be a nice place to gather my thoughts and ponder.

This woman clearly doesn’t care about keeping this business open. Open 1 day a week for only two hours?! Seriously? She could’ve just discontinued dine in and started doing deliveries, there’s so many options for preventing Covid transmission. She’s slowly letting the business die. So stop giving her your money and let it die already! Such a sad waste of good food that no one can get.
Happiest customer ever. I picked out a vegan cupcake, key lime cheesecake bar, a mango Bavarian donut, and a blueberry boo boo bar. 10/10.

Emailed and planned a pickup. Great service, amazing pink sugar cookies, lemon cloud bars could have been more lemony but we're buttery delicious instead. 100% will be back.
Literally the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had, I am still trying to find something comparable. Super homey and cozy vibe inside.
Cristaudo's is who we used for our dessert bar. Even before our tasting they were always So quick in answering our questions via email or phone call. Our tasting was so relaxed and delicious. When our day became closer we touched base to go over numbers and edited our initial quote based on their recommendation, which ended up being just about perfect. Our desserts were delivered on time and our guests were pleased with the selection and taste. We couldn't have asked for a better company to use for our big day❤️

it's been a year since I dined at cristaudo's, but I think about their biscuits and gravy at least once a week. and the apricot mayo. best staff in Carbondale and I miss it so so much.
The menu items are wonderful and unique. Locally grown ingredients are incorporated into the recipes. And the bakery items-awesome!
The. Bread. Is. Amazing!! We had King Cake french toast and an egg sandwich. These are two very different styles of food and both were exceptional. They are a bit pricey, but not bad if you chose carefully and well worth the price. The staff is friendly and helpful even though we came close to close, and the atmosphere is cosy and fun! What a great place!
Got some cookies that were delicious and an espresso that was just what I needed!
