Quiet place to get coffee and a quick bite to eat. It was very busy but service was quick and friendly. They have a limited number of tables (5) or you can walk a short way to the beach.
Staff was wonderful (maybe a little too perky for that hour, but good people no less. My breakfast burrito was more like a taquito. Inserts looked like what you find in a microwave burrito. Blech
Get the Hawaiian Latte
Don’t know why but the iced latte with nonfat milk is extremely sour and it reminds me of drinking vinegar. The staffs are super friendly that’s why I gave another star for that. They made another one for me and the sourness stays the same. Idk if coffee at Hawaii should be like this or it’s the problem with the milk. Super disappointed and frustrated as it’s my first thing in the morning.
Loved the açaí bowl and brown sugar cinnamon latte. This is the only spot open at 6 am for coffee
Here's what you need to know: enjoyable hotel cafe providing some good Kona coffee pour overs, açaí bowls and OK croissants. Friendly service and lines weren't crazy long. Pricing is Hawaii hotel pricing so it is what it is ($8 coffee and $15 ham n cheese croissants). Overall, grateful for the option on the resort. We waited about 6 minutes in line, and another 10'doe our food and pour over coffees. They have a selection of 2x 100% Kona coffees and 1x 100% Hawaiian peaberry coffee, which is great to have the choice. The croissants are just meh, but the good news is you can get them warmed up for more flavor. The açaí bowl was serviceable - enjoyable but unmemorable. Breakfast for 4 is about $60 with tax
Enjoyed the Hawaiian iced Latte and the Ham/cheese croissant melted sandwich. The girls working at the shop were friendly and sweet :) It was a great kick start for a day at the lagoon!
Thru have a menu, but it doesn't mean anything. They're out of most of it and don't seem to care.
For an interesting coffee experience on The Big Island you have to try this place once
Very good service morning service when nothing else is open that serves very good coffee and pastries out of this world in the middle of the ocean. I just love it I'll come back again.
Not like Hawaii coffee. Tasted like a dunking donuts extra sweet coffee. Will not come again even though I’m Staying at this resort.
Great coffee but it has gotten crazy expensive, I mean way beyond the inflation I see everywhere
Ordered cold brew iced coffee and got something that tasted like iced tea. Not sure if it was a mix up or just really bad coffee. Really long lines too.
The food is just ok but the prices are insanely high.
Overall, this coffee shop was disappointing. I took a chance on this place because it was the only well-rated coffee shop near us. Parking is validated if you don’t stay at the hotel, which is nice. Açaí bowls and smoothies were unavailable because they had no more preprepared ones according to the employee. It sounded like whoever was supposed to do that yesterday just decided not to. The matcha tea latte is watery and that’s strange considering it was made with whole milk. The croissant sandwich was okay, but very basic. Overall, I paid $21 for both. Very expensive for mediocre items.
Great service and delicious coffee. A bit expensive but I believe that to be the nature of Hawaii and how hard it is to get things on the island. Breakfast sandwiches also very good and some cool merch to check out. A definite try if you're in the area for some great coffee in the morning.
Croissant was terrible and chewy and old 5 stars for their açaí smoothie and coffees
I don’t know about you, but if I pay 7$ for a coffee with creamer, I don’t want to be handed black coffee and a half gallon of half n half and told to do it myself…
Bear claw was soggy but coffee and iced tea were great.
2 times in a row, ordered messed up, ingredients not in stock, rude workers. Would expect better quality with the surcharged price.
