The food is decent but the wait can be a bit long and there’s limited seating.
Cute place, good food, nice waiter but the could smile a little more :)
MEATLOAF. The gravy. 😍 Good coffee, lava flow dessert bar. Coleslaw. Mahalo NUI. <33
Doesn’t get more authentic and awesome for great food and coffee.
It’s breakfast time in Maui. Where ya going to eat? Wait in line for a hour to have brunch in Kihei? Or take the fabulously scenic hour long drive Upcountry to Grandma’s Coffee House? Go Upcountry!! Grandma’s is a comfy rustic cafe in Kulu with delicious breakfast and lunch options and home-baked goods galore! And no coffee house would be complete without fantastic coffee. If you’re really hungry, try the Loco Moco - unbridled deliciousness!!
Grandma's has stayed my all time favorite coffee shop since I first went when I was 3 years old. I'm now 27
Amazing place!! I have celiac disease and asked about gluten free options and they were so accommodating! They cooked my breakfast on a separate pan and even when bringing the food out mentioned that it was cooked separately for gluten free:) Super impressed! Food was SO GOOD!
Upcountry local business you must check out. Great food. Excellent coffee. Gotta go.
Good food! Except ham was a little bad. Vibe was a bit bizarre. Cookie was dry.
End of the road to Kipahulu. Or first business coming back from. After witnessing a beautiful dawn, this place was warm and friendly with wonderful people. So nice to encounter.
Breakfast was delicious. Loved the banana bread and chocolate chip macadamia cookies. Wish I could order by mail
Took friends there and they said that this is the best coffee on Maui. I agree! Also bought banana bread with chocolate and my boyfriend said it was quality dark chocolate. Cozy atmosphere and nice views from outside seating.
Great breakfast place, especially after visiting Haleakalā for sunrise. The staff was super friendly and the food was great. They have many fresh options and good local coffee. The patio looks down on Kihei and overlooks the ocean. I recommend the açaí bowl!
Was excited to visit here but it wasn’t worth the stop. Strong locals only vibe. The girls at the counter ignored us multiple times while we were standing right in front of them. A smile and acknowledgment of presence goes a long way, guys.
If you're nearby and want a coffee or sweet treat, it's worth the stop! They had a decent amount of choices on the lunch menu but we didn't try anything.
Nice quaint little place with a rich history. Food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Nice patio with great views looking down to the ocean
Fun, quirky spot with decent coffee and food. I found my Kalua Benedict to be a bit under-seasoned. Be prepared for a wait to order on weekends. Enjoyed our meal before a great hike up Waipoli.
Delicious food! We found this gem after attending the Haleakala sunrise and were looking for coffee after. They had great selections for coffee/breakfast/pastries. Hard part was deciding which we wanted cause they all looked good. They were quite busy and it was quite understandable once you got the food. The eggs cooked perfect on the Loco Moco, Kalua pig tasted smokey and amazing. White chocolate cheesecake and also carrot cake umm...yes please! They also had some local honey for sale which also tasted amazing.
Lovely spot. Food was good and they had lots of options. Service was friendly. The outdoor seating was exciting with little birds and chickens below the deck. Don't leave your food or the birds will steal some 😉
Great food. If you’d like something sweet get the coconut French toast. Kalua breakfast is my favorite choice! Cute little place, very popular. Expect to wait 20-30 mins to place your order. There are no bathrooms here. Stop at Keokea park, just down the road before you get there for restrooms.
