The staff at this location is nicer than Hanalei location. Love their ice cream.
Went on May 11th around 5pm and met with several disrespectful and rude teenage girls working at the shop. Moody and unpleasant. Shouldn’t be working there if not content, can upset customers on vacation

Best ice cream on island! I am from Oahu and there aren't too many really good ice cream places. Most places' ice cream is icy, but Lappert's ice cream is perfectly creamy while having unique island flavors. Definitely a great stop if you are craving ice cream.
Ice cream was good but the service was TERRIBLE!! The girls that were helping us were very rude! God forbid we interrupt their TikTok videos. We are a family of 5 and after our 3rd order we started getting the eye rolls and snickering with the other girls. The customer services was as cold as the ice cream.
Ice cream was good, staff was rude. $17 dollars for a kid scoop and small ice cream (not including tip).

Good ice cream and sorbet but nothing to write home about. Went on a very busy Sunday and they were out of many flavors. We were all happy with our choices. No place to sit and enjoy the ice cream, particularly in the rain. The shop sells coffee too, and the menu of sundaes looks great. The group of staff working was great. Prices are a little steep.
Original and different ice cream flavors including macadamia nut. A must go, but go early they close before you may be done with dinner!!! Decadent

Line out the door on a Wednesday afternoon during the culinary market. It moves at a decent place, depending if there are any coffee orders. Two employees behind the counter so if there are smoothie, coffee, or specialty items (beyond an ice cream scoop), one person is handling that order. Coffee ice cream is extremely smooth (no crystals) and fairly sweet. Waffle cone is crisp and crunchy. Definitely recommend visiting a Lappert's on Kauai (a couple locations available).

Really hit the spot, and nice that they have tap to pay, since I never really carry my wallet with me when I'm on vacation.
This ice cream is so good! We loved all of the unique flavors! Our favorite was the white chocolate with raspberry sorbet and brownies. Yum!
We've tried the coconut, the macadamia nut and the mixed of coconut, macadamia nut and caramel. Apart from the coconut ice cream (strange taste that does not quite reflect what I have used to when eating some real fresh and local coconut ice cream in the Caribbean and the Seychelles Islands) it was excellent, especially the macadamia nut ice cream (gorgeous).
You will find some really great flavor combinations. I forgot to say 'no whip' on my sundae. I'm glad of the mistake. It was strawberry whip topping and paired very well with dessert.
