Best coffee on Maui. We are coffee lovers and while visiting Maui we tired multiple coffee shops. Akamai was our favorite. The staff was super friendly, the coffee shop is super nice inside and best of all the coffee was great. The iced lattes are delicious and my husband said his iced americano and his hot latte were the best he had on the island! We also tried the regular banana bread and the chocolate chip banana bread, highly recommend to add those on to your coffee order!

This place is the best. Although the menu is not big compared to other placed the food is awesome. The avocado toast, the croissant, and the coffee i got were amazing. The matcha is great. The cashier and the people working there were friendly and patient. Will definitely be back.

I was really disappointed. I ordered the cardamom mocha- paid $8 for it & I tipped them and the drink was nasty. When I think of cardamom I think of the mango lassie drink where the cardamom really makes the drink and is a complete flavor. But their cardamom mocha was too strong & bitter. I let them know that I did not like it & asked if I could trade it in for another one. They told me I couldn't & I could pay full price for another one if I wanted. Makes me wish I wouldn't have tipped them. If I pay $8 for a drink I should be able to enjoy it. Needless to say, I didn't finish that drink and I do not recommend it to anyone. Also if you go there, I would recommend ordering something you know you already like bc they are not accommodating at all.

The store was tastefully decorated, but the value of my espresso drink was mediocre. I purchased a 16 oz iced vanilla latte and received about 3 ounces of espresso with 13 ounces of ice. Should’ve gotten the drink hot I guess lol Their banana bread was average tasting and a small slice. Not worth the $4. Their ham and cheese croissant was tasty. I really wanted to like this store more than I did. Maybe next time it’ll win me over?
