If you have not tried the food here, you need to. The Passion Bakery is awesome, great food, great friendly staff, and an all-around pleasant eating experience. This is the way.

Cannot recommend this place enough!! We were greeted by the owner Michael before we ate and he was very friendly. The malasadas are a MUST. They are absolutely delicious.

Excellent malasadas and baked goods. The malasadas were fresh and airy, with the perfect amount of flavor and filling. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and chewy, with the perfect mix of chocolate chips and dough.

Do yourself a favor. Eat here. Just do it. Malasada was amazing. House-made chorizo was out of this world. Edit: We came back to get more Malasadas. The store was expectedly busy. The staff were all busy filling orders. The person taking orders was unbelievably rude. Lost a star for poor customer service.

Great sugar malasadas at this little bakers. Right now they have them on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. You can get them plain or filled. They also serve breakfast and lunch. Would certainly come back again

Only been once, but really enjoyed it. I had the loco moco with Kahlua pork that was unbelievable. Definitely recommend it! I went late however, so most of the baked goods were already gone, and it was still packed with a line snaking through the place to order. The cookies and scones that were left looked really good, and the service was still pretty quick despite how many people there were.

We love this place so much! Everything is amazing but especially the ham and cheddar puff pastry. Make sure you get there early or they will be sold out. We have been going here for over 4 years and the staff is always friendly

Get there EARLY (within 30-60 mins of opening if you want to get your hands on their sticky buns. Though I wanted to try every single one of their pastries, I got a few variety and I must say my favorite were their Handpies (really flaky puff pastry and filling - my fav. was blueberry) and their Maca. Sticky buns. So delicious with their sticky topping. I was a little underwhelmed by their Malasadas though - good donut but the fillings were either too sweet or just lacking. I'm spoiled by the amazing malasadas I've had at my fav. bakery in Seattle though. But again, highly recommend their Handpies and Sticky buns!

I stopped by this place on few occassions and it was closed or out of breads or too busy. Two days before leaving the island, I stopped by and was told by an employee they close at noon and it was 5min past. I shared with her my disappointment. She kindly invited me inside, had me speak with the baker lady who told me that I have to preorder the breads. Thankfully, I noticed the malasadas menu which was on top of the glass display. I ordered the lilikoi and another one, and they were delicious. I also got the mango bread and it was also exceptional. They also have sandwiches and hamburgers to order.

We were staying close by and saw signs for malasadas and decided to get some. Went there at 8 am and got lilikoi, mango and vanilla bean. They were delicious! The only thing strange was the mango had a lot of filling vs the other ones. Went back the next day to get feta eggwich, guava puffs. The eggwich was really good and the guava puffs were really good too. On our last morning there, my husband stopped by to pick up a couple of macadamia sticky buns that we brought back home and they are totally worth the hype. So why am I only giving them 4 stars?? I also happened to pick up some 8 oz milk packs(cartons)for my little one there and the price was a whopping $4.5 which was not posted there. Paid 9 dollars for 2 which is a ridiculous price to pay even in Hawaii. Besides that the food and pastries are really good and priced well. Totally worth the visit!

We planned a stop here before heading out to Waimea Canyon and very glad that we did. From the malasadas (ube was our favorite), muffins, acai bowl and sandwiches, everything we had was fantastic. There was a small line when we arrived around 7:45a but the staff had it down and the wait was short to get all of our food. This is a must stop while on the island!
