I usually like this place. They have good food options and great milkshakes. I had a terrible experience on Friday, though: I was craving a milkshake and went well before closing (around 6:30) and since it's a short walk here, I walked down and waited in front of the door with another guy... and waited, and waited, and waited, while they served the next car to drive in and ignored us outside waiting patiently. After half an hour and watching seven cars that had pulled in after we had arrived get served, we determined that we had enough and just left. They need to get their act together and take as good care of their walk-up customers instead of their customers in cars. A very irritating experience.
I love the food and coffee but if you go at the wrong time get ready for an aggravatingly long wait time. Like I’m talking 30 minutes and you’ll see the staff just standing around too. I was there eairlier today and a girl working stood and talked to someone who had already paid for I’m not even joking like 5 minutes. I know it’s just a coffee shop but some professionalism wouldn’t hurt.
The best ice coffee. You've gotta try the BLACK ice coffee and you'll appreciate plain coffee itself. The coffee is smooth and well balance to my taste bud..
Everything is freshly made!! Love their Mocha Frappes!!! The staff are always friendly.
Friendly staff and great coffee. I had a English toffee latte and it was soooo good.
The best coffee and bagel on Big Island.
Takes a while to get your coffee, shake and breakfast bagel however, it's worth the wait! If your in a hurry and there's a line keep going.
I specifically requested old fashioned sodas, no whipped cream. I ended up receiving shakes, WITH whipped cream. Not lactose intolerant friendly. I left due to not having enough time to correct her. I ended up giving my beverages to my friend. I don’t know if I want to come back if the girls are just going to make what they want.
The drive thru line was out to the road so we walked up. Someone comes out to take your order. Super nice & quick service. We got tasty iced coffees/lattes, breakfast sandwiches, a muffin & danish. All was delicious & such reasonable prices!
Terrible service. Rude baristas. They also took away the option to go inside to order! Now there is no other choice but to wait in the extremely long drive threw lines that also obstruct traffic on the main road. Very inconvenient. Lost my business to sippin sirens
Best place in Hilo to get your coffee fix. Their milkshakes are incredible, especially the chocolate peanut butter, it's the best shake I've ever had. And the chicken pesto sandwich is amazing. It's a must stop!
The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are fantastic. The service is amazing, they always remember every detail of every order without writing it down.
This is coffee at its best with great service and friendly atmosphere. I try to stop here every time we go to town, even if it's out of my way. Awesome!!!!
Colton Taylor is amazing, he is a huge contributor to the business, he has an amazing smile and pretty eyes. His service is great, he is so kind and cares about customers with a heavy heart.
We had 2 of the pesto macadamia nut chicken sandwiches and they were delicious! I'm not normally a chicken salad or tuna salad type person but these were very flavorful and tasted like pesto and not overwhelmingly mayonnaise. The service was efficient as they had individual people coming out and taking orders as well as ringing people up so that the drive-in line would go faster. We even ate our sandwiches a couple hours later after a hike and they were still delicious and not soggy whatsoever.
Frappes are to die for! Don’t pass this place up 🙌🏼
Everything is always great here! So far I haven't had an item I did not like. Don't forget to purchase a card for 6 coffees and get the 7th free. You just need to have the same drinks 😀
All the staff are always smiling & quick to take your order. My absolute favorite is the chicken mac nut pesto, as a salad, sandwich or in a wrap.
JCC was my 5:00am M-W routine for 2022. The staff was two incredible sisters that brought joy and made incredible coffee; it was such a pleasant way to start the day. You two know who you are, and I’m grateful to have connected a little bit with both of you; I’m gonna miss you this year. Breve w/ a little bit of sweet. (fav drink I found there) Breakfast croissant toaster w/ bacon, egg, Swiss cheese, avo and/or homemade pesto. (fav sammie)
My latte was excellent. Friendly service. We tried a few local coffee places in the area, but this one is the best. Drive through was fast and convenient. Ono!!
