Popo's Cookies

So we stumbled across this cute little town, Hanapepe, looking for something to eat after hiking the Canyon Trail. What a great find! It was a Friday night and like most little towns in Kauai they were having a street party. Live music, food trucks, and friendly people. Popo’s Cookies were handing out samples of their Butter Dream cookies and we fell in love. We purchased some of them and also Keola Deelites and they were melt in your mouth deeelious!

Best bakery cookie ever! Chocolate chip Mac nut melts in the mouth.

We bought chocolate coconut and peanut butter flavors. The best thing about the place is the signage because the cookies are dry and crumbly. Staff was not pleasant either.

I can only speak for the peanut butter cookies, but I thought they were pretty dry. The staff seemed really nice, though. Maybe some of the more interesting flavors are better?

My boyfriend & I stumbled upon this shop, tucked back into a courtyard. We couldn't pick a flavor so we ended up with 4 bags! Our favorite so far is the chocolate chip. My boyfriend is a huge fan of crunchy cookies & these definitely hit the spot for him! I may also be a crunchy cookie convert, now....So glad we found this spot and we will definitely be return customers! :)

Far from the best. Way too dry with almost no flavor. Grandmas cookies from a gas station are way better.

Been buying PoPo's cookies for years. Love that they continue to make these great cookies! So happy that I can mail order these as well. A great reason to visit Hanapepe.

A fanlocal cookie joint. Lots of choices to choose from, all are somewhere between great and whatever is above great. If you want to get some cookies for folks back in the States, they will even pack and ship them (at your cost obviously). Highly recommend!

I've been to Kauai many times and I always try to stock on Popo's cookies. For me, these are the best cookies anywhere!

Yum. Grab a bag for just under $5 when visiting Hanapepe. Many flavors to choose from.

The butter dreams are out of this world good! Totally worth the drive! Add it into a day trip to the South side of the Island if you're staying on the North Shore
