One of the best meals on the island by far. The staff and service was excellent and the selection of drinks was perfectly diverse. Great experience!
Really great spot- the front is a shop, so we were a little confused but the host took us out to the patio and it was beautiful and the food was SO good.
Great food. Fish was ok, but Uni was great, rolls are great. Chicken karage was delicious. Overall pretty good food quality. But, the service….was quite disappointing. There were three ladies managing the small restaurant. Two of them were without any smiles. We sat for like 5-10 mins without anyone came to greet. The tips options came with starting point at 20%, also with tax included counted as base. I was not very comfortable with that.
Awesome outdoor cafe with amazing staff and awesome food! We had a poke bowl, a couple futomaki-ritos (tofu and tempura), tonkatsu and tempura bentos. The tonkatsu is some of the best I've eaten, I wish my grandma could have made katsu like this! Moist, crisp breading and perfect portion size. Spicy poke bowl was great also and the tofu futomaki made my kiddo happy and she liked the flavors. Our other kids powered through three orders of California rolls which were also good. Will definitely come back!!!
Lovely location in a small town. Their lunch menu is to die for - I don’t remember the last time where everything on offer looked good. Simple, high quality and fresh ingredients, with good portions. Staff are super friendly and helpful. However, note that some of their market price items like their sashimi and nigri - which to be fair is really fresh, can be really pricey ($40+ USD typa deal), and some of their dinner portions (e.g. soft shell crab salad) are a bit too small.
Very fresh fish. Highly recommend the tempura shrimp
This place is amazing! We drove an hour to get here and it is worth every minute of the drive. The sushi is wonderful and the macha cheesecake is out of this world. The vibe is great. There are some musquitoes but if you move a little they won’t bother you. The food is so good you probably won’t even notice they are there. Must visit!
You can't go to Hawaii and not get sushi! We ordered the spicy salmon, spicy tuna roll, Veggie roll, veggie tempura, Hanapepe roll, and ahi tuna tacos rolls made with shrimp tempura and cucumber inside with eel and avocado. Every roll we had here was super fresh! We are from NYC so having this fresh sushi was like heaven. This was our first trying ahi tuna taco rolls. The ahi tuna is so melt-in-your-mouth delicious with its slightly sweet and buttery taste, and the shrimp tempura adds that perfect crunch that just takes it to the next level. While the eel had a sweet and savory and has the most tender texture you can imagine.
This is the best restaurant that we were lucky enough to come across on our entire trip! Yes, the food can seem a little pricey, but not for Hawaii standards, and not for that high quality. It’s a beautiful patio and we had great service. The live entertainment was perfect too!
Fantastic tempura and sushi in a lovely garden seating area. Service was also friendly and quick. A standout location for the whole island!
Delicious sushi. Fresh. Atmosphere is so adorable and seats are out back in nature. Sometimes live music too.
Delicious, fresh and super tasty, in a cute and calm back garden.
The food was amazing. I got the bowl with Grandma's Chicken and it was some of the best chicken we had the whole trip! Incredible.
Had the soba noodles with tempura and the shrimp bento box. Everything was fresh and delicious, great flavors. The special drinks for the day were really creative and fun and tasted great. A good place for a fresh and healthier lunch, portions were reasonable.
So we went on a Saturday because their web site said they had raman on weekends. They don't, told me to call next time. But the what we did have, sushi and tempora was excellent.
Aloha, I love this place! The sushi is fantastic. There are other great non sushi items on the menu. I love their hibiscus tea among other creative drinks. The outdoor lani is beautiful with lights, a garden of plants, pretty flowers, and live music. The service is great. You do need a reservation. There is a beautiful shop inside with lovely jewelry, clothes, and other accessories including children's things. I look forward to going here often. I recommend this place. Enjoy.
The food was pretty good, but the reason for 3 stars was due to customer service. First, in the hour and 15 minutes we were there, nobody came to clean up the dishes. When someone finally did, the reason behind hind it was trying to get us to leave. The person clearing the dishes, who I assume was a manager made it a point to tell me that the next customers had already checked in for our table. That’s not my problem. You menu says specifically that you have up to 90 minutes. I thought it was rude to try to rush us along. I would not recommend driving an hour to come here like we had to.
Service was excellent. Food was even better. Always a must for the rainbow dragon roll and poke tacos. My kids favorite restaurant. Local music feeled the air. Good place for sushi.
Loved this little homey spot! The fish was as fresh as could be, and my pork tonkatsu was juicy and crispy. We had halibut and toro sashimi, the eel roll and a tuna handroll. Recommend 💯
Yummy yummy food - healthy bento rice bowls with freshly made tempura. Highly recommended home made food!
