OMG! We saw this on Tik Tok and weren't disappointed! I ordered the 100% Kona coffee. Amazing! My husband had the Belgian waffle and I had the Brekkie Sandwich Bomb! Both delicious and worth the wait. I love how they have a live screen to let you know the wait time. Cute inside as well. Breads you can take home and shirts and mugs. I grabbed a pink coffee mug, adorable and an army green racer back. Love it! You must try when in Kauai!
People in Hanalei get moving early so don't be surprised for this spot to be jumping right when they open. I arrived about 7:30 and most seats were full and there was a short line to order from the front window. There's also a more traditional coffee setup counter in back with baked good, etc. Don't be discouraged, you can sit on one of the few picnic tables out on the lawn or take your food down to the beach. Or just be patient, people move through fairly quickly. The food and coffee were both really good. The fruit bowl with a side of honey was so fresh and delicious. The avocado toast was excellent I just wish they had a verde hot sauce for it (Tapatio packets only but they got the job done.) You could also add bacon or an egg (think baked egg cup, not over-medium) which was nice. The warm biscuit was a bit dry for my Southern sensibilities but the strawberry jam was delicious. Overall I loved this place, the varied menu, and open air space and will definitely return when I'm back in town.
Omg this place! We had salmon toast and vegetable panini, both were amazing, very loaded with fillings, and the portions are HUGE. Coffee is delicious too. We were here at 7:05am and the place was quite full, by the time we left there was almost no free tables. I totally understand why this place is so popular though, it is amazing!
Amazing place to grab a bite and a coffee. Ordered the burrito and a sandwich, both were filled with high quality meats and fresh vegetables. The coffee was also very pleasing. Don't ask for anything after you pay or the staff will be sure to provide you with a annoying facial expression and the common attitude we noticed from anyone who considers themselves locals here..
The veg panini and breakfast burrito were great. 1 star less because of long wait to get food everyone we went. Overal nice breakfast place
Wanted to really like this place. Expensive place serving decent but not extraordinary food. Better more friendly service would probably raise our opinion, but unfortunately service was mediocre at best.
Great spot for breakfast. Skip the long line on the inside, you can order the full menu from the walk up window in the front. Definitely go for the warm biscuit with jam and butter. 🔥
Solid choice for breakfast in Hanalei. Probably the best avocado toast we had on the island. The bread is fresh, as you'd expect from a bread company, and it makes all the difference. Plenty of coffee and tea options as well. It's consistently busy, but the staff handles it well and there's plenty of outdoor seating and nearby parking to help with that.
Very good breakfast place in Hanalei! We had the granola/yogurt bowl, ricotta toast and brekkie sandwich. Everything were perfect! But we were disappointed by the pastries, they are overrated. The wait line was insane as well: 30’ line + 40’ food preparation wait. Be prepared
The tambor acai bowl here with peanut butter added is our favorite one found on Kauai! Highly recommend. Iced coffee was good too!
The food was amazing, I had the hot pastrami sandwich and a tropical smoothie and it was delicious. Not sure if I just was super hungry that time but the sandwich was so good. Be prepared to wait though, we went for lunch and they were slammed, it was about 30-40 before we got our food.
Found this bustling breakfast stop on my first morning here! Coffee, smoothies, bakery, waffles, and other yummy fare. The outdoor window is for mostly restaurant orders and the indoor counter is better for picking out bakery goodies.
Best chai latte I have ever had. Beautiful foam design by coffee guy and the foam was luscious and creamy.
Great place for brunch and coffee.. they have a variety of sandwiches and toasts.. !! Overrated cos you can find everyone wanting to go there.. each time we went we had to wait for about an hour to order and another 40mins for the food to come!! Felt like the whole morning went by just like that… Smoothies also take time as its very crowded.. !! they have bench seating outside which has a cute vibe.. The crossiant needs a special mention.. super soft and buttery.. Their presentation of food is amazing !!! Also very very expensive – breakfast with coffee for 4 is not below 150$..
Wait was shorter than advertised which was great. Gluten free toast available as well as a nice GF pastry. Make sure to mention if you have celiacs so they can take care of cross containing.
There's nothing I hate more than inefficiency and incompetence. The signage for the different lines is non existent so you never really know if what you want to order is available at a particular counter until an employee comes out and yells at the entire restaurant in an annoyed tone. In addition, I stood off to the side to stay out of the way while my partner was in line waiting to order, and got told I needed to go wait somewhere else if I wasn't ordering. Perfect, guess I stand in line in the way instead. She had to say "excuse me" 3 times while trying to deliver orders since I was now "in the line"
Best croissants 🥐 ever! Im so grateful they know how to do it and in my hood🙏🏼 I love croissants so much i traveled france 🇫🇷 croissant tasting ☺️…. Also Australia. Croissants are an truly an art of love and patience, but gotta have em re-toast it, makes all thr difference
Great atmosphere. We had the Brekkie sandwiches and tea. Lovely. Will be back.
Great coffee and tea choices and sandwiches were surprisingly top shelf. Well worth the visit.
Great place for coffee and a pastry. Breakfast looks good too, but be advised. GO EARLY and be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes in line plus time for food. The wait is worth it though and remember they cook everything to order using local ingredients and great can't be rushed. I had a scone and latte and purchased a loaf of multi grain bread. All delicious!
