Quaint bit good food. I likes their Shrimp poboy sandwich (Vietnamese grilled shimp).
It’s taste, I like it .I will come back
Great Boba. Great Service. Unique Pho in town. Worth for tourist like me.
This used to be one of my go-to restaurants on SSI. I believe there are new owners, and the quality has changed. Tonight I ordered the shrimp fried rice which is described as having shrimp, fried rice, onion, carrot, peas, and broccoli. This is what was received tonight ($16):
Brunswick local style of Pho'. Celery replacement for basil. No side vegs. However, it was very good. Great service.
Food was tasty, but not as fresh as it could be. Also chicken was dry, shrimp a little tough.
My husband and I had lunch here last week. For a change from the Pho we split a steak stir-fry dish. It was very good, but I still think that their Pho (choice of meats) is best. Our server, Adam, was friendly and very prompt. Asked it all was well with our meals...always nice for the server to ask.
Think of their pho as the dollar menu pho. I mean technically I thinks it’s pho. There was broth, chicken, rice noodles, and a dash of celery and cilantro. A lime wedge was in there next to two jalapeños. The broth tastes like it was made in two minutes, the only flavor I got was from the hoisin and chili I added. The staff were super nice and the bubble tea while over priced was good. I will not be back. I make better at home and I’m the tall awkward Dutch kid.
They have the best pho in town! Very delicious and employee are very polite with manners. I love there combinations bahn mi! The best bahn mi I ever had! 🤤 Worth the drive!
((Update; the place must be under new management becouse the quality has declined alot. Now it's more of a generic chain restaurant that cuts corners and offers you less for more, skip this.))Great place to eat. I go there often, food is good, friendly staff. And you can walk next door after for a draft beer at the Growler Factory.
Really welcoming folks. Enjoyed the cultural experience. I didn’t love the Pho but it’s probably because living in Austin ruined me. The bubble tea was nice.
The food is fresh, amazing, and reasonably priced. It's a very intimate and small, (probably only seats about 20 people); the 2 guys at the desk are just amazing and personable. The Bahn mi, soup, and the spring rolls are just....sigh. I ordered the soup to go, they put the ingredients for the soup in a separate container from the broth so nothing gets soggy! Who does that?! Can't say enough about this place....oh and Bubble tea!!!! The boboa is always perfect. You know what? Just go there already! Lol
Subpar Pho restaurant…was really disappointed😢I ❤️love good Pho and this was not it!!! I drove in from Darien and I will never do it again, it was not worth the drive. SMH.Maybe something else on their menu is better but I wouldn’t know. I wanted pho and got really super disappointed ☹️
Found this place by accident (lucky for me) really good food I had the pork vermicelli. Pork was tasty and juicy my wife had the shrimp pho soup it comes in a generous bowl, I also ordered Vietnamese coffee ca Phe Sua Da it was simply delicious I plan on returning and completing my journey through their menu
Overall was a decent experience and the pho was decent. Spring rolls were the best with the peanut sauce.
The food is the so good. This is my first time trying the food and I’ll give it a 5 star. It was my birthday.
This is my first time eating here, I love it and trying the bubble tea. I came her for friends birthday.
They have many great vietnamese dishes, my favorite it's the soups. I had the wonton soup with vegetables. It is a huge bowl of goodness. I like the hot jasmine tea. Now they have added Bible tea. It is under new management and it is wonderful!
Had a nice lunch here. My wife and I shared the shrimp and chicken spring rolls which were fresh, tightly wrapped, and full of fresh vegetables, noodles, and proteins. The peanut dipping sauce was a nice pairing. My wife got the chicken pho and I got the combination (chicken and shrimp) fried rice. My fried rice portion was somewhat small but probably because it was at lunch time. The tails were left on the shrimp in the rice, which I've never seen before, and the shrimp in the rice were also smaller than the shrimp in the spring rolls. Would have preferred the larger, tail-off shrimp in the fried rice. The flavors were great though. My wife's pho was delicious and a huge portion. Broth was very flavorful and had lots of fresh, seasoned ingredients on a gloomy day. I would recommend this place for great food and absolutely friendly and respectful service.
Not a fan , the food is superduper ...... Racist MGR treated me profileish like I was. Gonna hold up the joint or not pay for my stuff then it was warm like a/c was broke or sumptin. YES IM POSITIVE ITS THE RIGHT REVIEW NOT GOING BACK!!!!!!!
