Best doughnuts on the planet! If you appreciate lovingly made food in a charming environment you must visit. The cat head biscuit is insanely tasty and I normally can’t stand jelly doughnuts but the berliners are filled with deliciousness that doesn’t over kill with sweetness.
Delicious donuts and hot coffee. I wish I could have tried a breakfast sandwich, but didn't have time.
Highly recommend! Everything we had was amazing and you can tell it's made from scratch!
This is the best shop in the golden isles. The entire menu is incredible, every time I go I’ll try something new and every time it’s so good I usually have to sit down. The Maple Brioche is quite possibly the greatest tasting thing humanity has produced thus far. If anyone says otherwise then they literally just have bad taste buds. Furthermore, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The place is cozy and fun to hang out at.
Wow. WOW. These doughnuts are to die for. I wish I'd ordered more than just 2 blueberry doughnuts--they were the best thing I've ever tasted. Can't wait to come back for more.

The passion and detail that go into every last bite (and sip) at Dulce Dough is simply inspiring. They have that moxie that makes you want to be better at what you do, wake up earlier, and dig deep. What they do is both a labor of love and an act of kindness to the community. Be good to them, especially the big bear with the beard who you can hear through the glass window.
Everything tastes delicious, fresh and homemade
Their donuts are more like French pastry. Prefer the sugar, glazed and cinnamon. Just a personal choice.
Edited- the Pecan sticky bun is definitely 5 stars! It was so good and so decadent! We came for our 2nd visit to SSI and stopped in for breakfast. Everything was yummy! We visited Dulce Dough Donuts while on a quick trip to the Golden Isles. The shop is very charming and is popular with locals and tourists ... we were in line for 30 minutes and afraid we were going to miss out. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My family thought the doughnuts were good but not nearly as good as our favorite place in metro ATL, Dutch Monkey Doughnuts.
I want to take a day trip back to St. Simon's just for these doughnuts. Goodness! They. Were. Beyond. GOOD! Don't skip this place during your visit!
Our favorite discovery in St. Simons! We went to Dulce Dough Donuts & Bakery all 3 mornings of our recent trip, it was that delicious. We ordered online the night before, ensuring a good selection and no wait in line. Favorites included the buttermilk biscuits, maple bacon and cinnamon donuts, and vanilla cinnamon rolls. Dulce's biscuits are some of the best we've ever eaten (and we're Southerners - we know biscuits).

Best doughnuts I have ever had...My wife and I travel all over and always find the best local bakeries. I have yet to find anywhere that comes close to Dulce Dough's brioche donuts.
Pros: -obviously, they have a great selection of donuts and baked food. I had their buttermilk biscuit with egg and cheese on it. -if you do^ wanna have the biscuit, you can add things to it! Make it your own -lots of seating and a variety of it. Couches, bar seating, tables, outdoor seating. -I like that they have framed art of local elementary students 🥹 & puzzles in-store for kids to play with. My heart -great coffee/espresso drinks imo -clean bathroom -cool view of everyone baking when you order Things to note: -this is a stand up and order establishment, which I prefer! I’d rather pay beforehand for my stuff anyway What I recommend: -their buttermilk biscuit however you like it AND their sugared brioche donut. God dang. It’s so good and light. Didn’t feel heavy. Twas perfect ✨
Food was very good & the atmosphere was nice. There were 3 of us & all of our orders were not correct. We wanted sunny side up eggs on our cathead biscuits. Kept giving us easy over eggs. Finally excepted the easy over eggs. Saw others in restaurant with incorrect orders.
Best doughnuts on the island! My husband and I always make a trip to Dulce Dough when we visit St. Simons! We also love to get their vanilla lattes. Such a cute place to sit down and eat at. Highly recommend!!
Good place for doughnuts and coffee, they actually can sell out if you get here too late. Also their bacon, egg and cheese on a brioche bun is amazing
