Somehow my review from 2018 got removed, so I’m happy to leave it again. This business is on the historic square and has items lining the sidewalk. My family of four was walking on the public sidewalk past this business when my two (2) year old Daughter reached out and touched a concrete bird bath that is literally ON THE SIDEWALK. The onslaught of meanness that ensued from the shop owner was impressive. We we’re yelled at, berated, and, ultimately, the cops were called…not by us (the subjects of a verbal tirade) but by the lady who owns the shop. Yes, she called the cops on our two-year-young Daughter and we HAPPILY awaited the Officer’s arrival. In fact, we dedicated the time to wait there until he arrived. After listening to both parties, the Officer suggested that we report this issue to the City as situations like this occur frequently and are a black eye to this community. Were we customers? No. Simply pedestrians on a public sidewalk enjoying a sunny day’s stroll along the historic square of a quaint North Georgian town when we were aggressively pursued as we moved past this shop. Am I bitter? Hmmm…nah, not really…I do embrace forgiveness. But when you see something, say something. I saw something, I’m saying something.

Walked in and got nothing but angry stares and rudeness from them.

All of these reviews are 100% on point. Gas station coffee, Narnia-meets-Nana’s-attic vibes, and barely any room to walk around. Five stars because my boyfriend and I walked in for kicks and giggles and boy did we get it. I’m just sad we missed the persnickety old lady. Not a place you go for good coffee, but definitely an entertaining experience.

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to stop by for a while now. Let me say that the outside of the shop is very similar to the inside with the cute, quirky decor. I really enjoyed the atmosphere! The owner and her son were very kind to us and they have the cutest cat.

Very weird vibe here. A man stopped me as soon as I stepped through the door and asked if I was going to buy coffee. I asked if I could look around and he said they were only selling coffee today. He wasn’t necessarily rude but very unwelcoming and made me uncomfortable. It’s also hard to even walk through the place and it seems like a fire hazard. Very strange place.

Actually great coffee and German chocolate cake. Read the reviews, seems like it's a hit or miss. But I'm a not great looking Hispanic guy and I was treated nicely so not sure what demographic would have an issue.

My fiance and I went up to counter to see menu while waiting for the rest of our family. We didn't see them so we started towards the door and a man I believe who owns the store says to I believe his wife "people are so impatient!". I then told my family what he said and we decided not to give them our business. As I left I made sure I told him I heard him. He then kept saying Starbucks is around the corner. Very rude and I will spread the word.

The lady who owns the shop enjoys intimidating, harassing, and kicking out customers based in their appearance. Read these reviews, which include some truly vile stories, before sponsoring.

The lady who owns this ship is tremendously rude. I wanted to look at the menu before I ordered a coffee and she claimed I just wanted to poke around her shop without buying anything. I can't wait for this place to close down and occupied by someone who will use this building to better effect.

I thought about leaving an awful review, then thought not, but after reading plenty of others I can confirm that the people who run this place are extremely rude and unwelcoming. It is bizarre that it is still running. DO NOT give these people your business!

Lynn and I visited coffee break and had a great cup of fresh brewed coffee. It is definitely a very unique and unusual place. I would recommend stopping in whenever you’re in Dahlonega. We found some wonderful gifts that are one of a kind, we love them. Jeff was very helpful and friendly. Mom sure would’ve loved the place, God rest her soul.

Just had the best experience here chatting with Jeff and his mother, felt like we made a new friend. Charming coffee shop with delicious baked items from a local farm. Had some great decaf and perusing the huge variety of fun items for inside as well as outside and felt like I was in the Garden of Eden, looking at the magical green thumb work that had placed all the beautiful plants and garden art and whimsical concrete decorations. Was driving by and had to come back....so glad we did. Can't wait to come back for Halloween and Christmas! 🎃🎄 Also, he has great stories and has been visited by Frank and Mike from American Pickers, soooo cool! Check out the pictures near the register 😁 Please don't let the unkind reviews scare you off, these were such kind people and we anticipate staying in touch. I don't know why some folks feel the need to tear people down and try to destroy their livelyhood just for sport, says a lot about the reviewer's questionable character and I wish I could review them! Cowardly keyboard warriors. Really dislike mean spirited people. Let's support local businesses and build people up. We all need support and kindness.

Visited today and was pleasantly suprised! Wished there were more coffee and pastry options though. Got a coffee w/ almond milk and it was delicious! I love the outdoor seating area! Had a great chat with the owners seems to be a lovely little place to sit and have a nice cup of coffee. Would reccomend!!!!

They left both a closed and an open sign up, a very strange woman harasses you if you stand in front of the store too long... it was closed during the hours it said it was open...

Watered down coffee. Could barely get in the door. Massive hoarders run this place. Weird vibe about this place. Won’t be back.

The door was locked despite the gate being open. We were unable to go in.

What a strange place. The lady running the store greeted us at the door, but only to confirm that we planned to purchase a cup of coffee. She was friendly, but that may have been only because we were buying coffee. The coffee was very watered down; it kind of reminded me of something you might get in a hospital waiting room. I honestly don’t know how this place sells enough coffee to stay in business.
