Traveling and new to the area, got recommended to go here. Overall: not worth it. Seating and food serving were quick. Got breakfast, it was what we ordered but not special. People seemed to really like the cakes. Didn’t try. Was turned off by the waitress in the Georgia DIY-ed MAGA baseball cap. Then noticed that it was more than a personal choice and that the restaurant seemed to endorse it based on magnets/signage, autographed picture of Donald Trump Jr, and such memorabilia. All that said, the staff treated us fine, but wont be returning.
Great food and the staff is super awesome.
We started eating at Rusty Bike two years ago and loved it. We live 45 minutes SE. The last two times we've been, we noticed that locals are given precedence over people who have been waiting 30+ minutes who said: We will sit at the bar. When we arrived on Friday, May 12, around 8:45, we were basically ignored by other employees and the owner who were at the register, and could have easily taken 15 seconds to add our name to the list. The hostess was out on the floor cleaning tables and finally came to the front to take names. My husband told her that we would sit at the bar if that was the first available. I saw many tables clean and ready, yet the hostess was not seating everyone promptly. The clincher for us is when a local walked in and asked the hostess if anyone was in front of him to be seated at the bar. Her response: "No, sir.". I'm sorry, but I know my husband and I requested the bar and a couple that was put on the wait list after us. I get it. You want to keep your locals happy, but if visitors have already been waiting for 30 minutes, wouldn't it be considered bad business to give a seat/table to someone who eats there every day? Maybe you just don't care about out of town customers 🤔 I didn't get that vibe two years ago, and the food is definitely great. However, we left Friday without eating and went to the Waffle House and got fast, friendly service, and the food was great. I'm not sure we will be back.
I can see why this place has a high rating. Some of the best chicken tenders I’ve had. But they are packed and stay that way for a long time. Would return.
67% match? No way, 100% match! This place is perfect, busy/popular but no wait, great service, ample parking, and off the charts food! Low priced as well!
Delicious food, excellent service and good atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again when I visit the area.
Lovely burger and fries with awesome service. Thank you !
Never had a bad meal here; it’s our favorite breakfast spot in the area! It can get pretty busy, so I’d suggest arriving early if possible to avoid a long wait.
First time here. Had a short wait which was well worth it. Service, excellent, food, excellent price excellent!
Crowded, noisy, service adequate, parking difficult to find a spot especially for handicapped. Cashier is at front door and with everyone waiting very difficult to get out or come in. Greek omelet was dry and over cooked with only one thin and lonely mushroom slice. Hash browns were crispy outside and tender inside as they should be.
Ordered the corned beef and hash breakfast and banana French toast and everything was amazing! Wonderful small town feel with great food. Homemade jelly too! Friendly staff and fast service.
You can tell by the line that extends out the door that this is a popular place. The food is excellent & the staff is top notch. They also have probably the best home made cakes in Georgia. If your passing through Clayton, this is a place you must visit. Too bad we can’t give more than five stars.
Great French toast and biscuits and gravy. Small place, be prepared for a wait, but it moved quickly. Other than being somewhat small, all was good.
We have been driving past this place for years on our way between Atlanta and Highlands and decided to stop for Breakfast. We went in and were immediately ignored by all the staff. Not greeted, not asked if we'd like to put our name on a list (which we saw sitting on the bar), not asked how many were in our party, or if we wanted to be seated. We stood next to the door watching people go in and out for nearly 20 mins. before we decided just to leave. Also, I was hoping the food was good because the decor was making me uneasy and nauseous. NOT a warm, welcoming place for ANYONE unless perhaps you are a local or 'think they way they do'. Staff appear to be encouraged to wear political slogans on their clothing, hats, etc. If you don't think this way as well, I would not bother. Shame this place is on the main road and I hope they are not a representation of the town of Clayton as a whole. Overall, EXTREMELY disappointing.
Just happened to stop here when passing through town. I’m so glad we did. Good Food & service was great. Coffee was the best! I’m sorry they ran out of cake early. Wish that I lived closer.
Breakfast was great! Get their as soon as they open, or definitely expect a little bit of a wait, but we'll worth it!
Saw the reviews and decided to stop in, the reviews don’t lie! This is my new favorite breakfast place!
Great food, cool environment. We stop here to eat every time we come through Clayton.
We had an amazing lunch at this place. We were treated with the utmost respect, friendly staff and got our food quickly which tasted amazing. Thank you for a great visit
Excellent service. I had the ribeye steak and eggs. It was good. I think it's worth the money. Great restaurant. Waited 35 minutes to be seated. On a Sunday morning, so reasonable wait. Been through the lot a bunch of times and never found a spot. Got lucky today around 11am. I'm sure other items on the menu are just as fresh and good. Clean and crowded. So they are doing something right. I didn't like the jukebox beating in my bad ear. But that's almost anywhere nowadays. The chairs need pads for sure. The familiar chalkboard scream every time someone moved. I liked everything other than the chairs. I noticed one handicap parking spot right at the ramp. It was taken. Didn't have a permit on dash, but could have been legit.
