Horrible service. Tells you out of stock after you order. Lot of things out of stock. Ordered gluten free toast, got full gluten toast. Had to ask for them to take our order. Watch many tables sit for a long time without any service. Good food, terrible terrible service!

Omgosh we are so grateful to have found this absolute gem in Sarasota! So many amazing and healthy food options…and the staff are seriously the sweetest ever 💖! We initially came here to for late afternoon snack and it was so good we came back for brunch the next day! The pesto sandwich (I subbed with turkey) with homemade ciabatta was the best I’ve ever had and the raw berry coulis cream pancake was absolute heaven. Loved their smoothies and their special coffee drinks too (golden milk latte and honey latte😍!). Such a great little vibe here and we learned that the owner is passionate about health and wound up finding a high end water mineralizer/purifier and brought it all the way back from Japan to share with her customers here. Great little spot with a lovely patio under the trees with lots of beautiful people being happy enjoying amazing food.

I would love to be able to give this place the full five stars that it deserves, but our waitress really spoiled our time. Yes, the place is busy, but they have tons of staff and runners around as they should. The food came out quickly and was delicious, but we saw our server only twice. When we were ready to pay she slammed the card reader on the table; my party thought that was a little aggressive. All over, great food and staff, other than our waitress who needs a little more training.

Really cool spot near Marina Plaza. Full strip of restaurants, coffee shops, & juice bars. Came here for a quick pick me up and left with a delicious shake!!! I ordered the Life Force Chocolate Shake and it was the perfect balance of chocolate and all the other ingredients to make you feel like you’re making great choices in life! Hahaha Happy Cow approved for all my veg heads. Lots of vegan, gluten free options. They label everything for you on the menu to help with people who have nut, gluten, or dairy allergies. Have to come back to try their food! Definitely recommend ☺️

Food is delicious!!!😋 They have super healthy choices, like gluten and dairy free. The place and ambience is nice. The service is the only bad thing about this place.

Such a quaint little place with lots of charm. Hanging orchids are suspended overhead and wooden covered menus give this place a unique feel. There were so many fun vegan options that it was hard to choose just one. I will definitely going back for the lunch menu; I heard they are known for their sandwiches. The veggie plate I had was delicious!

GZC has a pretty balanced green smoothie and matcha latte. The large portion sizes and affordable prices mildly compensate for the scattered service. Regrettably, the banana pancakes and French toast (while aesthetically pleasing) left much to be desired when it came to flavor.

Green Zebra offers options for all but also some great options for vegetarian, gluten free and vegans. Not just vegan but also raw vegan options are on the menu. I got… Golden Latte elixir Pure gold cold pressed juice chilled and super fresh. With a dash of cinnamon on top this is a light and sweet warm drink. Tuscan lasagna raw vegan lasagna so yummy with layers of red bell pepper patte on top and red bell pepper hummus as well as pesto in between the layers. Raw tiramisu cheesecake - so good! Light and fluffy with a nice and gentle sweetness. The fact that it is cruelty free really makes it extra. Mediterranean veggie sandwich on gf bread Comes with salad or with potato’s i got the potato's for something warm and it was great choice . They were smashed and lightly salted, so perfect. Has nice crisp sprouts and cucumber with regular hummus Mayan cacao smoothie has cayenne wow just perfect. Rainbow kale salad has hemp seeds and pumpkin seeds along with some nice red cabbage and some fresh avocado on top, the dressing was light and flavorful. That was so yummy, y’all. Thank you. So we went here for brunch, couple issues worth noting. My mimosa had to be sent back bc there was a hair in it, it got in my mouth (barf) (they applogized but didnt discount, whatever), the water smelled and tasted strange, and twice an employee approached our table to give us food that wasnt ours (interrupting our date was annoying). I had high standards for a place that charged so much. I give two stars because the food itself was great.

My new favorite breakfast stop in Sarasota. Super friendly staff, cozy decor, attention to detail with chilled glasses for water and fresh creamer for coffee. Large, delicious omelet and good assortment of breakfast option.

I will let you decide: 2 adults for coffee and desert cost $54.25. We did the "right thing" by leaving a tip ($9.13) which put our final bill at $63.38. Huh...? For a cup of coffee, an energy drink, 2 slices of cake and 2 bottled waters. To be fair, the desert was quite good but, if we had known the impending cost, we surely would have gone somewhere else.

Stopped in for quick afternoon healthy lunch before getting off to the airport. Service was super fast and friendly. We were able to seat ourselves outside and bartender waited on us. Really good for basic vegetarian options. No fake meats, just proper vegetarian. If you need a quick bite that is healthy and fast if recommend it. Also they have lots of choices for juices and smoothies.

Went for brunch - got the sun benedict and tiramisu cheesecake. Portions were too small. The benedict I got on gluten-free bread which is typically smaller than whatever the standard bread is that a restaurant offers, and most places will make up for the difference, so I am not sure if that is the reason why it was so small but there was a measly amount of mushrooms on it, which are the "meat" of the dish. The flavor wasn't bad, but not good enough to want to order again. The side "salad" was a small pile of leafy greens with balsamic on them. Why even bother? I would be happy to pay more for a real portion size and a real side salad. Simon's knows how to do a healthy side salad. The raw tiramisu cake - flavors were on point but for the price -there should have been more. I understand why raw desserts cost more than normal ones, I used to make and sell them, but this was far too small for the price. I also got the raw lasagna to go and I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor, but again not a satisfying amount of food especially considering it was half tomatoes. No complaints about staff, and our projected wait time was very accurate, and the text notification system for when you're table is ready is a great setup.

Poor service. Waited at the entrance for 10 minutes before being greeted and provided with a menu, though no one else was in the restaurant at the time I arrived. No napkins, water, forks, knives, spoons provided and two items we ordered were missed. Long wait time despite there only being one other couple in the restaurant. Our family did not feel welcomed here.

Ashely was our server, she was working so hard with other tables & at the bar. She was very approachable, friendly and so sweet. My first time here was great. The food was great, they accommodated a few changes to my meal everyone was so friendly to eachother. The culture and environment was warm. I recommend for a besties brunch or a date as well. This place is adorable!!!

Had dinner here after reading positive reviews ordered the artichoke bouillabaisse. It was not that good service was not that good waiters seem like they care and they were dressed like they worked in an SNM club.

This review is about the service, not the food: We arrived today at 10:30am. After giving our name and number, we were told to expect a 15-20min wait for the first available table. They would call when the table was ready. After 30min, my wife went to ask about the status of our table. "We'll sit anywhere," she told them, as our four month old was getting more than a little restless. "20 more minutes, then we'll have you a spot," the hostess replied. Odd, given that they'd already seated a number of other parties of varying sizes... We eagerly waited on a park bench across the street while my wife fed the baby the good old-fashioned way. A mix of adoring and damning looks came our way as we watched the Green Zebra staff clear and fill table after table. Still, no call to say our table was ready. "These can't all be reservations?" I said, to no one in particular. It was 11:30am at this point, an hour after we had arrived. When I went to go see what was up, the hostess informed me that she tried to call, though she couldn't say when, but the call hadn't gone through. I confirmed that she had the correct number on file and asked why she didn't try calling again or simply flag us down since we stayed within earshot of the restaurant for the last hour now. She simply repeated sheepishly that she did make *one* attempt at calling us. I showed her my call log; nothing had come through in the last hour. I didn't raise my voice or berate her, because anyone who's worked in a restraunt before knows that mistakes happen. Fine. What I was so disappointed by was that no effort was made to make things right. She said we could have the next table in maybe 20min or so. That was it. No discount offered, no move made to make space somewhere, no even an apology was made! Mistakes happen. But a restaurant that won't make things right or even offer an apology *when* the mistake happens, it probably isn't worth my time, or yours.
