Such a wonderful place! They have a cute coffee shop vibe but also ice cream treats. They make home made ice cream samies right on the soot. The staff are mostly special needs, so they offer the opportunities to find employment for those that may struggle. Their was a girl doing live painting and the founder had a display of his products and diamond art! I love this being in our community and what it offers! It’s also super delicious and in the cutest spot near Bricks! A must for after dinner fun!
We went on an after dinner date here last night and tried an ice cream sandwich and Beignets. We got the brownie cookies stuffed with Butterfinger ice cream. The cookie was yummy and the ice cream was full of Butterfingers. The Beignets were good and the strawberry dip was really delicious! Looking forward to trying other ice cream sandwiches and the coffee!
I love what this place stands for an how they employee individuals with developmental disabilities! I love that the coffee is organic but I was disappointed at the taste. I spent $7 on a latte and didn’t even end up drinking it! I’ve heard that the Icecream and beignets are amazing but I did not have the chance to try them out. There are about 4-6 tables inside and a small outside patio. I would say this is more of an in and out type place versus one you would set up and work from. There is limited street parking and a parking garage right next door. I believe the minimum cost to park is $3.50

Wonderful establishment! All of the staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well lit. We had milkshakes and they were delicious!
This place is awesome. I had the cookie monster with smores ice cream sandwich. My wife had a latte with the bengiets and strawberry jam dipping sauce. Everything is homemade. The staff was very friendly and most of the staff has special needs but they do an awesome job! Props to the owner for having the vision to hire special needs employees and using them to be productive people in our society😁 I was brought back to being a kid again during my wonderful dining experience.
BEST COFFE AND ICE CREAM spot around! This is a Must for both locals and tourists.

Hands down Our favorite ice cream, coffee, entry place in Sarasota!!! I love the mission of Rise and Nye’s, but the ice cream, treats, and coffee truly are the best, even if they didn’t already have an awesome mission!! You can make your own custom ice cream sandwich, and the beignets are amazing too!! The coffee is top notch too!! And really cute atmosphere! Not to be missed!!
If there is one place in downtown Sarasota that everyone should visit, it's Rise & Nyes! Great coffee, the best ice cream in the city, and the owners and staff are amazing!

Fantastic experience!! In a world when every coronation claims to be inclusive one month out of the year to increase sales you have small businesses like this that actually are. The service was phenomenal and so was the ice cream!! Every neighbor needs a place like this.
I absolutely LOVE Rise & Nyes! There are so many reasons why that all I can suggest is that one just go in and experience them for yourself. You will immediately see, feel and taste why I say what I'm saying. The coffee is amazing, the ice cream is phenomenal, the beignets are warm and delicious, but it's Mission is what is going to take a strangle hold of your heart and will not let go. You haven't experienced downtown Sarasota fully until you’ve experienced the love at Rise & Nyes. Walk in for the first time & you will never be the same.

That 4.9 rating is well deserved, trust me!!! Incredible coffee and even BETTER beignets. I mean seriously the best I’ve ever had. Try all the various flavors and dips! The cinnamon was perfect and strawberry jam was so refreshing. Their inclusive employment and outreach is so empowering for the Sarasota community. Everyone working while I visited was delightful :)
Delicious ice cream, you can make your own ice cream sandwich with your choice their homemade cookies! And a beautiful mission too.
