Super sweet and relaxing vibes here. Perfect for a group outing or even some time alone. They have an amazing selection of teas and other drinks and pastries. Service is so kind as well!

Not as clean as I would expect for a tea house, tea cups for sale stored on a shelf at floor level very dusty/crummy. First impression not great. Had spicy chai bubble tea which was pretty good but tasted like a mix vs fresh made. With very little effort could really be a cute place. Clean up, organize the clutter up front, but up curtain walls for things you don’t want to see.

One of my favorite places in Sarasota. The service is excellent. The staff is so nice! The tea rooms are so cute but the outside patio in the back is terrific if it's not too hot. I highly recommend them!!!! 🤗

Beautiful salt rock wall, wonderful ambiance. Very busy, short staffed as many places are so unfortunately we did not have a chance to try dessert but the teas were wonderful. We also enjoyed the humus, antipasto, and meat plates. Delicious!

Pastries was sort of misleading but otherwise good, bubble tea was extremely disappointing though

I was visiting my hometown for a week and was very glad to find this gem while working remotely during the day. Over the week, I visited during the morning, over lunch, and in the late afternoon/early evening. Each time, staff was welcoming and attentive. The private tea rooms are so comfortable and have great ambiance. Food is pricier but I honestly didn't mind it whatsoever considering it's probably necessary to offset the lower price of tea. And when I did get food, it was always tasty and generously portioned. I loved this place enough to wish I still lived in Sarasota!

What a special culinary adventure high tea at Elixir is. A group of us went earlier this week and all oohed and aahed over the unique experience. We had a private room which, when we arrived, was already set up, including a festive Christmas tree sugar cookie at each place. Matthew, our attentive server, started us out with individual splits of champagne, then took our tea orders. The choices were plentiful and varied — black, fruit, green, herb, chai, rooibos . . . . Once we were ready to eat, he delivered tiered tidbit trays loaded with finger sandwiches, cakes, cookies and pastries. There was so much food, we each left with weighty to-go containers. It was a delightful and delicious afternoon, different in a very positive way from any that our regular lunch bunch has had.

Elixir tea house is simply put, superb. From the atmosphere, vast selection of teas, service, and the different themed rooms (all extremely charming, intriguing, intricate, & welcoming in their own way). It feels like a home away from home because it’s private, possesses a calm yet electric environment, & it doesn’t feel like they want you just to purchase a drink and leave. The staff are all really kind, sweet, & attentive but not in an overbearing American way. They all have so much charm, flair, and style that it’s hard not to keep coming back. Whether you want to listen in on a poetry reading, read, or get away to shift from being to becoming, Elixir is the magical place to do so. It’s truly immaculate 💛.

Ok so…. This place is absolutely wonderful! I spent about 4 hours here working on an art project! The seating is so comfortable and the overall aesthetic of the place is exquisite. They have a handful of private rooms, no reservation needed. As far as the products go: 1. The hot and cold teas are delicious! I enjoy mine hot, but they all have a brilliant and rich flavor. The pricing is reasonable. 2. The mini cakes are OUTSTANDING. It is the perfect pairing for a hot tea. 3. The bubble tea is bad :( I’m not sure if they know that tapioca pearls go bad after four hours. The four stars is for that. I would recommend going with the popping pearls if you are interested in the bubble tea here. Funky Fresh Boba in Nokomis is the best! This establishment is top tier! I highly recommend paying a visit. For real, go check it out! And they are open until 10! Its a great place to study, hang with friends, or go on a date.

TLDR: private rooms and tea variety were wonderfully refreshing. The cookies praline cake was the best! Delicious and so fun! Their private rooms offer a relaxing spot to unwind and drink from a variety of teas. We ordered hot, steeped tea as well as bubble tea. The bubble tea is a bit sweet, but is good nonetheless. The best was their cookies praline cake. It was so good we came back in the same week to get more!

What a gem! This place is adorable. Great place to go alone or with a group. My wife has celiac and we were concerned about that darn wheat in the tea. Well, the owner brought out the book from the supplier and according to their site none of their teas have gluten. This meant my wife could enjoy nearly every drink on the menu. The tea was delicious!!! But the atmosphere was even better.
