I had the Cannois sandwich and it was amazing! The baguette was so fresh, definitely made in house. The portions are incredibly generous. So good! It was a busy day but services was great. Will definitely come back when in Sarasota.

It's a nice little place with good food and best pasties. The girl forgot to place an item of the order and brought other people's checks. But I will definitely come back if I'm in the area.
Absolutely a taste of Paris right in Sarasota. Smoked salmon on brioche and choc croissant are too scrumptious! Definitely try it. Great Parisian ambient!

I had an excellent experience in this place. I ordered France Amérique breakfas eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and one plain croissant. Delicious 😋
Loved it! Such a unique environment and the food is fantastic. I wish I could have purchased their baguettes because their sandwiches were perfect.

Wonderful staff, desert and coffee! I’ll have to try their lunch or dinner next time. But I always drive out of the way to get this wonderful desert. Never seems to disappoint.
C'est la Vie is a wonderful place. To be specific, the food is always fresh and delicious, the servers are professional and polite (French and polite?? Oui oui!), the restaurant is cozy and the outdoor seating is one of the nicest on Main St. More specifics.... deeeelicious coffee, crepes, omelets, sandwiches and panini's.... the onion soup is delicious, the brie-apples sandwich is so yummy, the tuna sandwich on a baguette is sooooo good (but it's not really a sandwich, requires a fork and knife OR a body length bib). Highly recommend!
nice food presentation and tasty😋! you can dine in outdoor under the trees. they got pretty decoration as well. my favorite are puffy double cappuccino and crepes. we are traveling and so tired so that would be a good choice for brunch. but street parking is not free😂.

I ordered the waffle and it was freaking awesome!! Best I've ever had! Coffee was good. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I ordered a beignet. It was good but Huey's in Savannah so has them beat!! 8 walked inside and saw a HUGE ARRAY.of magnificent pastries and kicked myself for not going inside earlier. You MUST GO INSIDE! 😍 Breakfast was delicious! A little pricey but we were on vacation. Enjoy!!🥰
Not only is the ambience and decor amazingly authentic, but the food is absolutely fantastic!! Their croissants are delicious! We had an incredible breakfast here. The staff was friendly, and attentive. We'll definitely be back!
Have to add we returned twice, once for a scrumptious dinner and once for an amazing breakfast! Just awesome flavors and food; wonderful service! The various menu items we ordered for all amazingly delicious, full of flavor, served at perfect temperature. The owner stopped by to see how are you doing and we happily share that services excellent food was excellent and we would definitely come back. Now we did. We will stop in more often and I am sure this review will expand. Oh and the take out pastries, so yummy and Magnifique!!!
One of my favorite places to come for breakfast downtown. This place has quite a menu of choices but they’re bakery is second to none. We typically either get the croissant sandwich, because their croissants are to die for or the quiche. Outdoor seating is really nice but inside it has a really interesting unique atmosphere. As a local broker owner of a real estate company, I often get asked where to go to eat. This is one of my favorite choices to tell people for breakfast. Bon appétit.
Breakfast outside, beautiful weather, delicious food. Ordered croissant with scrambled eggs and bacon. Inside is total heaven! You must go inside and view the bakery items! You can't resist!
We were there for breakfast, the food was delicious and everyone was extremely friendly. We will come back next time we are in Sarasota!
Me and my boyfriend just ran in to get 3 pastries for our 3 year anniversary (not knowing they were closing) and they still served us with a smile and were so funny and sweet. I believe they were the owners. We couldn’t wait we had to try them in the car. This brownie tastes like heaven and so creamy and moist. The lemon tart (which was shortly finished after this photo) was sour and sweet and my boyfriend said it’s his favorite thing ever. I was literally in the car but ok.... NOW!! This passion fruit raspberry bar was quite literally the best thing I’ve ever had. Passion fruit and raspberry are our favorite fruits and we were not disappointed. Thank you we will be back for sure.
