Brooklyn Bagels are the closest I found to New York style bagels. They have a very good selection of flavors and they’re always fresh.
First visit. Super nice. Super clean. Super good BE&C on an Egg bagel! I grew up in Boston eating food like this and it took me back.... Thanks for making my day!
What a great find. We stopped in for lunch and absolutely loved our sandwiches. I had the Hot Pastrami... comes on marble rye with melted Swiss cheese and brown mustard. It was pure perfection. My wife had the Italiana, stacked high with ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and Italian dressing. Here again... a real taste treat. Don't miss this place.

They have Taylor ham, eggs, and cheese. The only one to have it in the area. Only Jersey and NY people they will understand what I'm talking about. Great bagels and muffins and good coffee. A little higher price, but you get what you pay for. Enjoy!
Bagels were good, wouldn't say they were great. Eat them quick!
We visited the restaurant on Cattlemen before, and it immediately became our new favorite for bagels. Yesterday, we placed an order by phone and had to change that order and also add several items to it this morning at 7am (right when they opened). While also filling other order-ahead orders as well as walk-ins, the awesome, friendly staff got everything in our order correct, making the requested changes and adding the new items in literally 3 minutes. I was so thankful because we were responsible for ordering for others who were excitedly awaiting their breakfast. We look forward to coming back often when we are in town again.
Customer service could definitely be better. I'm not sure if whenever I do go there, it just happens to be the day they're having a bad day. The older lady, though, is pretty awesome. She's always making jokes . I loooove their food, which is why I always go back .
I got a salt bagel with scallion cream cheese. The bagel was fresh, soft and slightly chewy- how it’s supposed to be. The scallion cream cheese was very fresh tasting. You can tell it was homemade. They did not skimp on the cream cheese either, they gave you plenty! I read in earlier reviews that the people that worked there were rude. No way! That is completely the opposite of what I saw. I thought the people were professional and very friendly. They worked fast and hard. I live in Palmetto that’s about 30 minutes away from here so I am not in this area very often. I will definitely be making the trip!

Went to Beneva location The Staff is Horrible and lacks leadership. The one lady was nasty and Rude. Not much variety of soft drinks. Soda and ice tea and orange juice. Bagels lacked taste and undercooked. Don’t waste your time or Money. Staff are not capable of working in fast pace Environment
Great little bagel and coffee shop. Lots of bagel choices and different cream cheese flavours. Never asked but pretty sure bagels are home made.
Looking for a true NY style Egg (or other flavor!) bagel? This is it. I will never go anywhere else for crème cheese or bagels.
OMG if you are looking for the ABSOLUTE BEST BAGELS, in Sarasota, look no further!!! You must try Brooklyn Bagel and Deli on Beneva. You’ll never go anywhere else. The variety is amazing and the bagels are out of this world!!! The staff are so friendly and upbeat, such a fun place to eat. We’ll be back ASAP to try their sandwiches and of course MORE BAGELS!!!😋🤗
Delicious. As a New Yorker I am very particular when it comes to bagels. This place was fantastic! Great bagels, whitefish salad (my favorite), and my husband's breakfast sandwich on a bagel was really good. So happy to have a bagel place in Sarasota that rivals my old stomping ground in NY.
$11.00. for sandwiches that Have ONLY A FEW SLICES OF CORNBEEF OR PASTRAMI IN THEM..is not what i am used to when i have been at similar restaurants... Expensive and skimpy..

The best location in SRQ for bagels and atmosphere! The kind, friendly staff are the best! The owner is there engaging and always there when needed! Kara and lisa are incredible! Moira makes the best breakfast sandwiches! YOU MUST TRY!!
I really love this place. The food is fantastic & the staff is wonderful. Especially Bev, Kara & Lisa.. they really take care of you. Would highly recommend Brooklin Bagels !!
Brooklyn Bagels on Beneva is my favorite local place to grab breakfast. Kara always gets my order right and Bev is so speedy at making it! 5 stars hands down!
