Amazing service amazing food. Quaint establishment, killer coffee selection. Dairy free options available.
Small quiet cafe with great people.
Meatloaf was BURNT and tasted TERRIBLE!!!! Mac and Cheese was dry....coleslaw was soggy....brocolli salad was dry and had no dressing....was such a disappointment....will NEVER go back here again....do not waste your money on this place!!!!
Surprised by all the five star reviews. Went for lunch at 1100 on a weekday, there were only two other parties there, but somehow our food was still barely warm. And the food was just fine. My sandwich was missing ingredients and my husband's was generally underwhelming. Pretty sure the coffee they serve is drowsy poet? I didn't see a sign anywhere saying that, but the coffee menu is almost identical to poet's. Just including that in case anyone was looking to try a local coffee shop that wasn't drowsy poet.
Got there an hour before they closed and never felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing anyone. The food was phenomenal. It's rare that I go somewhere the first time and they absolutely nail it, but the Notorious B.L.T. was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I ended with a cup of butterscotch caramel and they know what they're doing there too - not overly sweetened so the flavor really came through. I will 100% be back, I've already made everyone in my office aware of how wonderful it was.
We entered the Cafe and was never acknowledged. We could see it was busy, and there was another party ahead of us. But until we were seated, there was never any acknowledgement or communication. Once we sat, the server was pleasant. The food was delicious. 5 stars for the food but 2 for customer service.
The smoked turkey wrap was delicious, and large enough for 2 people! I loved the cranberry pecan slaw and also the broccoli slaw. The service was also outstanding. I will be back!
The food was overly salty. We has the breakfast taquitos and the breakfast burrito. Not sure if they had a bad day or not. The The restaurant was very clean with a lot of charm.
their mocha iced coffees (regular & white chocolate) are both flavorful but you definitely still can taste the coffee, not too sweet! ☺️
Grits could use some seasoning but the burrito was DANK
We had a little date morning here! Wanted to make sure we went to a place where we could get quality food and relax, and boy did this place deliver! I got the pulled pork surf and turf Benedict, it had the tastiest sauce plus the pulled pork was so soft and amazing. My husband got the canecuh sauce breakfast and he loved it, grits a lot of the time can be mediocre but not here! Zoe was our server and was so nice and gave great recommendations for drinks and food, made the atmosphere for our date perfect! The girl behind the bar is crazy awesome too, I mean our drinks were out literally not even a minute after we ordered. I don’t know her name but she has super curly blonde hair, and I mean she was working hard turning out those drinks so smoothly, plus the lavender mimosa was great! All in all it was a 10/10 experience which we haven’t had in a while!
So fabulous! Next level brunch with a very creative and yummy menu. The Gouda and Collard Green Grits bowl was divine. Coffee menu with great choices. Friendly fast service… thank you Zoie! Will definitely be back.
Great food and service. Looks brand new. Would go back.
Wow! I am a little mad that it took me so long to try this place. Everything was phenomenal. The best alligator sausage I've had, probably ever. I tried the mac with the gator sausage and pimiento cheese and I will definitely be back for more of that. So good. Crazy good. Plus, they have Drowsy Poet coffee which I was not aware of, so that was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress was very friendly and made some great recommendations. The place itself is cozy and inviting, perfect lunch or casual dinner atmosphere. There were a few vegetarian options on the menu as well, for the veggie peeps out there. ;) Highly recommended! Definitely not a place to miss.
Don't order breakfast to go. $18 for the worst overcooked, mush that was supposed to be grits, mostly fatty bacon, under-scrambled eggs, and a thin piece of barely toasted white bread. (ordered wheat). Barely edible. Go to McDonald's.
The pulled pork is out of this world.. very easily the best BBQ in town. Good prices, nice atmosphere. One of the best resuarants in Pensacola.
Very nice café and coffee house. The food was good, the staff efficient and friendly. It's SMALL so it gets crowded quick. Enjoyed my breakfast there but I don't think I'd plan on a Meetup with a dozen people.
Loved the vibe here, the friendly staff, cool interior decorating, and VERY yummy food. (If you like smoked meat, their smoked chicken is fantastic, particularly in a breakfast burrito.) We'll be back.
The online menu does not mention brunch as an option, nor does it indicate in any way that only certain menus apply on certain days. Went there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, but only brunch being offered. Very annoyed that your site does not match reality. Also, would like a real menu instead of using the dumb QR code thing.
Only payment is through an app with a card!? Everybody do not trust cards or even own them. This is inconvenient to those traveling. The server was a girl who clearly told me and my husband this place has a new way to order and pay! Again this is Pensacola FL were they judge your appearance CLEARLY for the owner to say this is incorrect but YOUR STAFF is telling people this as soon as they approach their tables. Maybe they need better training on your new posting and ordering app! I DO NOT need to lie on any BUSINESS @ALL. YOUR RESPONSE TO 1 STAR REALLY SHOWS YOUR PERSONALITY! Remember everyone has an OPINION and you need to learn how to take the positive with the NEGATIVE and make it better for NEXT couple of color!
