The sad thing about Fosko's is that it has all the makings of a beautiful coffee shop. Honestly, it's absolutely stunning, but as appealing as it looks, it has nothing of substance to back it up. I posted a one-star review a few years ago, and a couple of times a year, I will try Fosko's, hoping it will be a better experience. This past week, my daughter, her fiancé and I went in. It was not busy, but it still took over 30 minutes just to get our coffee, and the food took another 30 minutes. The baristas and servers were so rude - like THEY were doing us a favor by making our coffee - which last time I checked was their job. Sooooo instead of revising my one-star review, I am left wishing there was a zero star option.
Great coffee and Crepes. However, 25 min wait for a Crepe today but no refill on a drip coffee?!?! This is the first coffee shop that I have been in with no refills or at least one. Now I’m going to enjoy my crepe with a cold coffee. Great. Kind of a Petty policy. Warm crepe and cold coffee. Can’t wait.
Just wow! The place is not only cuuuute, and the food is good, the goofed is great.. but the staff is absolutely amazing! The positive environment driven by the team is nothing short of excellent. To crepe options are broad and taste delish. The coffee/latte, Honey Latte with Oatmilk in my case was right on point!!!! I stayed for a couple of hours to work and enjoyed it a lot!!!
Can be a hit or miss experience. But they do have good coffee. Just wish they were a little more consistent.
Love it! Asked the barista to make me something easy to drink without the taste of coffee. She made the most amazing jasmine-berry tea for a none yea drinker. Outstanding!!!!
the coffee was good, the crepes were really good, but it’s the whole vibe together that makes this place great!! Such a great space and layout
Beautiful shop, nice people, GREAT cup of coffee. Recommend the latte. We enjoyed it thoroughly, right on Palafox and close to everything else worth doing in Downtown. You'll love it
Loved the food and drinks here but they really need a better way of service. Staff might be affected by the aftermath of COVID....I went on a Sunday Brunch time and it took a while for us to get our food. You come in stand in line and order then find a place to sit. I will go back during the week next time 🤞🏼
Don't ask me why, but I often put a place that seems over-hyped at the bottom of my list. How many times I've been to Pensacola and we've walked by this shop. Not my smartest decision as it turns out. We went this time, and I should have known it was good quality. Homemade ingredients, unique offerings, always busy. We ordered 3 drinks. Each of them was fabulous. Might be the best nitro cold brew I've ever had. And love the mugs they use - double walled and do help keep the drinks at the right temperature. I very much dislike when a shop immediately goes for a disposable cup even if dining in. I will walk out of place (which we did before coming here) if I see people seated with disposable cups. My husband ordered a frittata, which was seriously delicious, but it took so long to come we didn't know if there was a mistake. When it finally came we could see that it was probably made from scratch and baked. It might be helpful to newbies like us if they let you know it may take longer. We will revisit when in Pensacola, and I recommend this place for others, too!
My first visit to this place was probably my last. The menu is in an unmarked folder under the counter, and not obvious… so when I ordered, I had just found it, but all I wanted was a matcha latte with whole milk. I asked for a match latte. She asked what flavor of syrup I would like, and I said none, please. Then she offered soy, oat, or skim milk. I asked if I could please just have whole milk and no syrup. She said the whole milk would curdle with matcha, so, no. I have had this drink a hundred times before, various places, not curdled. Makes me pretty happy. (A quick google search revealed that if this combo curdles, either the milk is bad, or the matcha is old, or low quality.)So now I am indecisive, and quickly searching the menu, that was hard to find, for another option, because, imo, those three milk options are all garbage. I eat a high fat, low carb diet. Not rare, these days. Another barista walks up behind her and the first asks the second about the whole milk. The second looks at me and repeats slowly ‘Oat, soy, or skim only’…with a tone usually reserved for a naughty child. I wish I had walked out, but I said ‘skim, I guess’. I proceeded to pay the $15 for that and a mocha for my brother. For $6.50, my drink was weak, and unsatisfying, and combined with the arrogant, passive aggressive attitude the barista gave me… no. I’m a 55 yo man. I moved here from sf to get away from soy milk and spoiled children. So, here’s your bad review, you earned it. Be more respectful of your customers, and their’ wishes. All I wanted was matcha and whole milk. No syrup, no soy, no attitude.
Great place to study, grab coffee, and grab a bite! The servers here are very friendly and have great recommendations. The coffee is mature, and a cut above getting any fast food coffee. If I can't make coffee at home, then this is where I go. The crepes are some of the best I've had! Gently folded on top of itself, they present a solid thickness to the crepe. This place has my recommendation!
FOSKO IS 5 ⭐️ This is one of my favorite coffee spots in Pensacola ! My go to coffee is a iced sugar free vanilla latte w/ almond milk. Their lattes come with 2 shots of espresso and taste great !
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED This shop is gorgeous with warm, friendly baristas. I had the honey latte, which was fantastic. The local honey really put this over the top. The many choices on the menu (which includes food items, beer, and cocktails) would be a ton of fun to work through.
Coffee and crepes are good but service is so slow. I ordered 2 crepes and arrived 10 mins after they opened…it took 45 mins! There was no one else in front of me. If you go in with more of a sit down service patience then you won’t leave disappointed!
The strawberry, banana, Nutella crepe was to die for. So fresh and delicious 🤤
Amazing coffee, crepes, cocktails and kept of all the staff. Can't get enough of this unique and vibrant coffee bar. Recommended to me by my awesome daughter and I been going now continuously. Again, the staff's friendly smiles and attentiveness makes it so amazing. Highly recommend.
This is my favorite coffee shop in North America. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful and interesting shops i have ever been to. I first went in 2019, and made a point to return 3 times on my last visit to Pensacola. My girlfriend and I woke up at 430 to see the sunrise by the water, and went there straight after. We had mochas with screwball peanut butter whiskey. The warmth and warm spirits were so soothing during a chill early morning. There was no place I would rather be than the garden out back. Its truly a perfect coffee shop. Their crepes are to die for.
Iced caramel latte was great! Only minus was the small amount of ice they put in the drink melted within minutes, leaving the drink only semi chilled. I’ll ask for extra ice next time. Will definitely be back to try their crepes too.
Tried the Ice Chai Tea! It was great! Cute coffee shop! Loved the vibe!
Great over priced Artisan coffee and food. This is another restaurant that serves a great "niche" meal and charges more, because it's a niche, than it's worth. SAD because "made in the USA" doesn't mean you have a right to molest everyone's wallet. You can get good food (more food) for less at Black Bear diner. This was a one time good deal. Prices are too high. Won't go back.
