A latte so bad it was absolutely undrinkable. The espresso tasted burned. I don't get the appeal here, and I don't get the concept. Oh, also, when a customer asks, "Do you have any gluten-free sweets," responding, "We have vegan sweets," isn't helpful. Not the same thing, dear. A "no" might be disappointing, but it's an acceptable answer when it's accurate. Update: I see the owner responded that Starbucks would be a better option for me. How bitter, what a bad attitude, and what a snide response to an honest review. I don't go to Starbucks because I prefer to support small and local businesses whenever I can. I've even given small businesses a second chance after a disappointing or even horrible first experience. But when the product is inedible or unusable and the owner is a class A twerp? Why bother. Anyway, Bodacious, The Drowsy Poet, Ruby Slipper, Maximillian, and many other local coffee shops have better beverages. I might not live in Pensacola any longer, but I'm there often and drink a lot of espresso. This place isn't getting my business again.
Great aesthetic, and great experience. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area, or even worth a fast detour.
Great coffee shop! My favorite is the frozen peppermint mocha.
Great experience! Even met the coffee guy. Good food great coffee wonderful service and you can get your eye glasses right in the same building!!!
I still think coffee guy is one of the best coffee shops in Pensacola, but I went to the new location this morning and I was very disappointed. I received the wrong bagel which is not a big deal but when I tried to tell someone behind the counter I was brushed off and not told whether or not I was being made a new one. I saw a bagel being put in the toaster and decided to wait to see if it was mine. After 20 minutes I ended up waiting in the long line just so I could talk to anyone. I was finally given the correct bagel and did not receive any kind of apology for my now 45 minute wait. I do not believe I will be going back to the new location and will just stick with the old one.
Unique experience. Coffee and other drinks were very good. Server forgot about an order until I approached the register. They were friendly and helpful.
I had an eye exam here , the doctor was very thorough and friendly , they’re reasonably priced and quick !
Amazing service and beautiful coffee. I got the Highland Grog and the house blend for my sister. We are visiting our other sister who lives here and we had to come try the eye doctor and coffee shop. Not exactly something you see everyday, unless you are in Pensacola.😏
Never really loved any coffee I've gotten from here but I've liked them. I just always expected the flavors to jump out more than they have. I appreciate all the variety though and the super awesome staff
The new place is very nice. It’s clean, the service is great and the selection is broad! Enroll for the rewards program and you’ll have a free drink before you know it. 😊
Staff courteous, coffee is yummy. The problem I have is with the punch card system and it’s failure. I purchased 2 drinks in October and neither punch was put on my card. I spoke with the mgr the next time I went I and my name was put on a list. The 2 punches didn’t show up. The next couple of trips the same process occurred, name on list with no punches placed on my card! When I went in the next time, my punch card was gone and was told it had expired. A new punch card was started and that punch showed up. Now here we are a few weeks later, I go in and the old punch card is back with the new one that was started. That was 2 weeks ago and that purchase has not showed up! And the drink I purchased last night has not showed up! What gives? So out of 5 visits, only one punch has appeared on my cards! Do I go back to the green star company or head to the new place that has now opened up that uses a smile system. Neither one has failed to give me my stars or smiles!☹️ come on coffee guy figure the problem and fix it! I love your coffee!
The only issue I have is that the price of the Avocado toast at the two locations aren't the same. The person at the drive-thru window had no explanation.
This place is the best coffee place around! The waffles are so good I crave it everyday! The customer service is so friendly and they always get your order done in a timely manner no matter how busy!
Love coming here for a cold coffee and either muffin or waffles. Every single item I’ve tried has been really tasty.. my furbaby approves
Eye see why everyone loves this place. The reason is not blurry at all, they have great people and a fantastic selection. Inside is welcoming and fun.

First visit and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Wish there were power outlets around the white tables. Such great staff, friendly and accomodating.
Purchased a pair of glasses from here! This place is awesome! Lynn assisted me and was very polite and helpful. She assisted me through the whole process until we found the right pair that suited me. Grade A customer Service. I went to a few places and this was my last stop. Thanks Lynn for all your help and insight. Now I can see clearly and fashionably! PS the coffee and cookies are awesome too! 🤙🏽
What an experience. Coffee is amazing and so many great brews to choose from.... but then they add baked goods that are SOOOO good. Soup of the day and wraps or sandwiches make it a great lunch spot.
The coffee is amazing. I'd go here every day but it's not really on my way. The service was great and the whole place kinda felt nostalgic.
