Awesome espresso cortaditos with milk and sugar. I wasn’t a big fan of the food but the coffee is awesome.

Mi Apa does it EVERY SINGLE TIME! My Goodness!!! Delicious authentic Cuban food! The fresh juices are AMAZINGLY always ripe and tasty! Not to mention the many great benefits of the tropical fruits used. Meals are tasty & flavorful every single time. I appreciate their operation and attention to detail. Despite their popularity they still get you in and out. I love love love Mi Apa! Today, I ate at the restaurant and appreciate the courteousness of our servers Sergio & Maria! Love Mi Apa!!

Maripat was a fantastic hostess and provided great service! Our group came in as the restaurant was closing, but they still served us, and the food was excellent!

Their vaca frita keeps me sane and reminds me of the one I used to get in my hometown in broward. 🥰

Cuban food and coffee here is phenomenal. We were in town for the weekend and visited twice. Get the lechón bowl, the mi apa croquettes, the yuca frita, and pay extra for the cilantro sauce. Cafe bombon is amazing too. Super fast and friendly service. Highly recommend!

I have been eating at this restaurant for years and it has been delicious every time. The menu is small, the food is simple, but it is very flavorful. The employees all have the attitude of life is good and they give satisfying portions. I think anyone could find something they would like to eat here no matter how picky they are. If you are hungry and don't know where to go, try Mi Apa', you will have a full stomach and return for more at a later time.

Gabriel was an amazing server! I have a dairy allergy and he made sure to tell the cooks about my allergy. My family and I love coming here! We can’t wait to come back!

This is THE place to go. The food is amazing, the people are great and the atmosphere is always wonderful. Be prepared to wait in line (especially during lunch rush), but I promise it's worth the wait! I recommend trying everything.

Terrible customer service. Ordered Family Ropa Vieja via Urber Eats and restaurant sent the complete wrong order of Family Arroz con pollo. They said I would have to return the wrong order and pick up the correct order myself which is obsurd! They also suggested that 5 to 6 people can eat from this meal when in all actuality, will only feed 3. Worst latin restaurant I have ever dealt with. Dont recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Always excellent, and an experience for lunch. Great for both dine in and take away. Both have been tasty. Side note: I wish they had more carne pastelitos available throughout the day. I always have the bad luck of coming in when they are out or close to it. This doesn't take away from the fact that the food is excellent and the staff are friendly.

This is the closest I can get to having good latin food in Gainesville. Whenever I have gotten homesick (or literally sick), this place really fixes everything for me. The masas de cerdo are my go-to and the portions are pretty good for the price. Their chicken soup is also good. It was so hard for me to find a good soup here when I got sick and they have a good one.

I am so happy to have come across this hole in the wall! Seriously everything here from the coffee, food and deserts are AMAZING! The atmosphere was so homey and our server Kasandra I believe was her name gave us excellence service. Very patient and sweet. She recommended the best meals for us and we greatly appreciated her. We will make sure to come by every time we are in town!

Nice little place for some good Cuban sandwiches. We had the Cubano and the Medianoche. Both were very good. The empanadas were good too. Reasonably price. Give them a try. Thanks for the quick and friendly service Stanley.

Lackluster service possibly stemming from having too many idle employees. Everyone was friendly when talked to though, just seemed unorganized. I ordered the carne con papas as well as a guava cheese pastry. The sauce for the beef was the highlight and flavorful however the beef was too chunky and tough for me. Potatoes were ok but very oily. Had the plantain and boiled yucca with mojo sauce. Plantains were great but lacked enough of them. Mojo sauce tasted like oil dumped in garlic with some garnish. Liked the yucca texture but trying the mojo sauce ruined my appetite. I also dislike the amount of plastic and non-resuable items they use but from other reviews they seem to be steering in a better direction with that.

One of our go-to choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Very friendly service and consistent quality with the food. The Cuban sandwiches are a huge portion. The iced café con leche is my favorite. The drive-thru might get busy sometimes, but they keep it moving.

I’ve been twice, and the service was very good and kind. I had a Cuban sandwich the first time and it was incredible. I had breakfast this time, but I picked a pretty generic plate. It was good, but I believe there are even better breakfast items I should have chosen. Go for it! It’s going to be good.
