Was looking for a place to study and this provided plenty of separation and seating for me to do some work. Recommend the smoothies

This was our first ever coffee shop visit in Gainesville which was 2021 December, we did like it back then but after visiting couple of times again we saw quality of coffee being decreased. You might get lucky and get a nice cup of hot coffee but the blended drinks were never nice.
There is no other place with a better atmosphere or better coffee. This place is charming and you can't help but smile when walking in - I highly recommend it !
Used to love this place, was my favorite go to coffee shop. Lately thought the inconsistency in taste has turned me off from coming back. The past few times I’ve come there has only been one barista to take orders and make the coffee so you’re looking at having to wait 10-15 mins just to order if it’s super busy and then another 5-10 to actually get your coffee all for it to taste like cough medicine. First time the coffee tasted bad I chalked it up to a bad one off but it happened again the 2nd and 3rd time. I am one to want to support local businesses but I’m not a fan of paying $6 for coffee that isn’t drinkable.

CYM is a great little nook of a coffee shop. Their flavors are homemade and all great!
The two baristas spent 15 minutes on two coffees, chatting and standing there not moving. I asked them if they could please be a little faster as I had to go to work and the PINK HAIRED girl, said yeah and continued to talk with the other one. I am a regular and the vast differences in service and quality of the SAME drink is ridiculous. Will no longer recommend to others. Update: Jan 23,2023 Johnny is very nice and extremely helpful! I appreciate his smile with my coffees! Back to being a happy regular! Thanks CYM!!!
The shop is cute, but I dunno the coffee was awful. The taste was just super bitter. I'm going to try something else, but for now it doesn't register as a good coffee place for me.
Definitely a good place to grab a coffee, talk with you loved ones, and work on your own business. The best cappuccino I have ever had.
I’ve been over a handful of times and the coffee as been mid each time. Cool little old house though. Good place to study if you’re a college student
Had a great experience here. The two gentlemen Jason and Johnny working were extremely nice and the matcha I ordered was made to perfection (Jason made it). It’s always so hard to find good quality matcha and someone that knows how to make it. I was very pleased with my drink!

This awesome little coffee shop is set inside a converted house. In the years I have lived in Gainesville they quickly have grown to my favorite place to get coffee. The staff is always pleasant and the coffee is top notch. The rotating specials made by the staff are a good place to try new things, I rarely get the same drink twice with the new ideas I see.
Great little coffee shop! Took the whole family of 4 in and we all got something different but everyone was impressed with their drinks, hot chocolate, ice coffees, and speciality mochas. Super friendly staff as wel! Thanks!! 🙏
Great coffee and cozy environment. Many choices of creative latte. Great place to spend your afternoon. Could be hard to find seats because of its popularity.
