Their GF blueberry muffins are the best! I wish they had more GF options because their bakery is on point.
Update: Returned and attended their annual Valentine’s Day Market on a cloudy day. Enjoyed the coffee and all of the vendors but especially the art work. Cool vibe and nice way to spend a part of the day. Parking can be harrowing but would definitely return! Really only got to see this from the outside but enjoyed the fact that all of the shops are connected and open up to a courtyard to recline, eat or gather… very cool place for sure.
Coffee is good. We love the entire complex (Auk, etc!) The service and customer support for respectful, in-person menu questions and options could be improved upon greatly (ex: dietary restrictions, types of creamer, etc); especially via friendly, verbal communication with smiles. Note: My daughter and I were very quiet and hastily took our turn; aware of others. We weren't obnoxious. The barista's emotions of silent hostility were palpable. I've never experienced such quiet rage at a place of service. It was awful. Her eyes glared at me the entire exchange to where I wanted to retreat inward. I don't pretend to know or judge, but either she is going through a lot or she hates her job. Her responses were so angry and condescending, that I wanted to hand her money in hopes that maybe her day would get better. She turned her back before I could.... I don't think I'll return anymore. Life is too short for one's simple pleasures to be so negative.
Run... do not walk here if you love savory Vegan food!!! PSA-Add the Korean BBQ Jackfruit...you will thank me later!!! Very unexpected of how good this flavor experience was with the vegan quesadilla, which I added the jackfruit at the last second...so glad I did 😍 Melting southwestern flavors, black beans, corn, Pico, caramelized red onions and so much flavor WOW.. This was superb with flavor, and seasoning-they know what they are doing, and I will be back every chance I get!!!💯❤️🌿✨️ Ordered a side of Yuca fries with some type of spicy plant mayo, which was heavenly...OMG...and I ran out LOL I was able to score a draft beer at dad's bar 20 foot away and enjoyed everything at a chill, outdoor, covered patio. Gift shop was cute and welcoming, and everyone I met was super nice. This is a hidden gem, and please go if you have not been yet!! 💯❤️
Unique place with food truck, coffee shop and vintage shop in a green setting. The food is fantastic, so is the coffee. Very kind and accommodating staff.
Good coffee and cool environment. Overflow space rarely, if ever, has A/C on so it gets very hot and humid while studying, my only complaint.
I love the food they have in the food truck! It is a food truck, but there is a good amount of seating right by it. I highly recommend getting the reuben!
Cute little Cafe. bar and artsy shop in the back. plenty of parking. good sport to work on your computer for the day.
I went there for the vegan food and I was very pleased. Very good food I got the vegan Ruben with the loaded tater tots and they were excellent. Only seating outside and I would imagine that everything in handicapped accessible
Great space, inside and out. Great for someone on the run, or to relax/work. Pastries made in house I believe. I bought a biscuit because I rarely find a good biscuit and the presentation alone persuaded me to buy it. And, as good as it looked!
One of my favorite local hangouts! Great place to chill with friends and grab coffee or food at the vegan truck. The Aux Market is awesome to buy local gifts. Love working there too in the study area!
I recently moved in to the apts behind Ward's groceries, and walked to the food truck one Sunday after dark. The white lights, covered cement patio with tables & chairs felt festive, and food taste + short wait time (w/buzzer given for waiting while seated) was all fabulous. I can hardly wait to check out The Auk Market, Curia Cafe, and various events held in the Curia Complex (I've seen the food-truck-adjacent patio used as a stage while driving my U-Haul by, but didn't have time then to check it out. There's definitely room for an audience on the lawn, and booths for arts & crafts. Idk about parking, because I returned to Gvl relatively recently, so hadn't been aware of it's existence until I moved 1blk away (can walk, so don't need parking). Between events though, there appears to be plenty of room, and I believe that if more people knew about the 7d-8pm food truck, many more folks would be stopping by for a bite!
The Curia compound has it all! Great coffee, delicious food, a neat shop. It's a fantastic place to meetup with friends or grab a quick bite to go. I hope it stays around forever as it's something uniquely Gainesville.
Love this place very open to run around great little shops And staff is amazing Along with atmosphere
Great vegan food truck! Grab a coffee inside Curia and then hit up the food truck for the best jackfruit tacos/quesadilla in town.
Great coffee/tea shop as long as you don't mind sitting outside.
Vegan food truck with good menu. Black bean burrito with MOJO sauce, delicious. Outdoor seating too. Fabulous place. Coffee, beer, pastry shop. AUK Mkt is definitely worth exploring. Bring kids, great place to run around outdoors.
This place used to be the best but the quality of the bagel bombs has gone down a lot in the past few months. The inside is always cold nowadays and half the time the cream cheese in the middle is barely there, and it’s really disappointing. The iced coffee is good, although I wish it came in a larger size. The food truck is pretty good but expensive for the amount of food you get imo.
Lady with the short blond hair very rude to customers. Food was undercooked and coffee taste like water— rudeness is not warranted especially with sub par food.
Great coffee. Cool employees. Go atleast once a week. Not a vegan but all the baked good and food truck outside are awesome. Give it a shot now.
