The best grits in town. Food cooked to perfection. A deep southern welcome as you come in. My best breakfast.
I was worried the place wouldn’t be good because, it’s cheap prices. I’m happy I went! The service was good, clean atmosphere, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The biscuits and gravy is a must so good. Yes, I’ll be going back again!

I’ve been going to jj plums since I was a kid and it was never a issue when I went in with my “white” grandparents, once I got old enough to go by myself (im biracial) they started treating me like I was a peasant and acted like they couldn’t see me. I went in one day for a order I placed over the phone, once I got there they just keep staring at me as if they couldn’t see me sitting there waiting than turned around and gave my food to a white lady that just walked in :/ even tho I was standing there for 15 mins.. if your a colored person I truly wanna say don’t go cause you will be treated like it’s the old days. I recommend Mickeys restaurant if you wanna sit down and enjoy your food without being judged for the color of your skin!!!!! I would rate it a negative 100 if I could.. the way they treat people of color is truly sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My food was great. My friend, on the other hand, was very disappointed. She ordered eggs & bacon with a waffle. The waffle came out very, very dark (I would call it almost burnt). She asked the waitress if she could have another one made. When it came out the 2nd time, it wasn't even filled with batter in the whole waffle! She could actually lift off the top from the bottom bc there wasn't anything in-between! She was very disappointed as I would have been also! In fact, the waffle was the whole reason for us going there. She had just finished working the night shift at the hospital and was hungry for a waffle.

Horrible service!! Won’t be back! My wife and I was standing by the front door waiting for a table and we got completely ignore while 2 other groups showed up after we have been waiting and got sat right away.

everything is always perfect breakfast lunch it’s always good. The waitress has a little bit to be desired. She calls everybody brother, even if you’re a female. I think that’s very tacky and disrespectful. The other Waitress is a dream come true.
Better than Kountry Kitchen by a mile!!!! I’m not a go out to breakfast person but i am now! Try this place and you won’t regret it!

There always the best. I eat there a lot of mornings I always eat outside. The bus boy there, he's the best . Went out of his way to make sure I had coffee, and anything else I needed. Give him a raise, I'm serious

Don’t go here if you want good service. Came in and stood in the middle of the diner for a full minute before being greeted. Order a simple salad figured it would only take 15 mins tops. 30 mins later I walk out empty handed. Break is over. And I didn’t get to eat. Horribly slow and inattentive staff. Never again.
The waitress was wonderful, sweet about me ordering scrambled eggs and grits for my elderly dad. Three in a free coffee!
