We love this place! We eat here every week. It's the best Cuban food around and the nicest owners!

An absolute must if you haven't been there. And an absolute must even if you have been there. Don't miss it.

Of all the options in downtown, for food, this is one of the best. I have eaten there 3 times and so far it is consistently good. You can tell there is a high standard for their food. Prices are 10 to 20 dollars. It is not really a place to sit down and eat as there is not much space but it is great to get a sandwich and a Cuban coffee and walk 5 minutes to the water and have lunch outside. Would certainly recommend.

George and wife are the sweetest people. I love their Cafe. They make you feel like family when they see you walk in. Their Cafe is rustic, charming, full of life. They have all types of coffees, we usually just get double coladas ourselves. Best coladas around! Their empanadas are delicious, especially with the chimichurri sauce. Love the red beans and rice as well. They have so many different types of sandwiches to chose from. You can dine inside or sit outside and enjoy your meal. I highly recommend this beautiful charming Cafe, located in The Galleria.

Very delicious sandwiches & pastries. This is our go to spot for lunch almost everyday! The owners are very polite and efficient with preparing the meals even when they have a full house. Highly recommend if you are looking for the best cuban sandwiches around!

This place is fabulous!! We are vacationing from Michigan for a week and went to George's place three times and wish we went more. The guava and cheese pastelitos were amazing! The sandwiches were possibly the best sandwiches we have ever had and my wife LOVED the Cafe con Leche. I am sorry I never tried the chocolate chip cookies. The interaction with everyone was great and made me laugh every time! Thanks for a great place George. We will be back!

I purposefully find reasons so that I am closer to Havana George's Cafe so I can stop in for a quick bite or an espresso. Simply the best! If you have a meal with his garlic sauce, you will be going back to ask for more, guaranteed 😄

So glad we stumbled across this hidden gem! This place is best! Coffee is amazing, sandwiches are great, and the pastries are yummy! But the best part is the owner, George. He is so friendly and gregarious, he makes a couple out-of-towners (without a Cuban blood cell between them) feel like family. We will be stopping back here frequently on our annual visits to the area.

Wonderful Cuban food! Friendly place reminiscent of Miami (to me as I grew up there). Definitely try when you’re in the area!
