We ate here twice in three days we were in the area & thought it was great. Good food, good service & reasonable prices. I only wish you could get shrimp & grits at lunch time. It's fabulous. Oh, and the key lime pie rocks, too.
Food and service are both phenomenal
Really cool place to stop for breakfast. They have an amazing souvenir shop and incredible staff. The people here are fantastic and the only thing better than them is the food.
Baby good eating I recommended
Nice place to visit. The owner is super nice, but getting food was challenging. We fish, and wanted to get some famous brisket sandwiches to take on the boat. Went there three times. 1045, unable to get sandwiches until 11 am. Disappointed, so sat down and ordered breakfast, took longer than expected. Went the next day. This time around lunch, we could still smell the brisket. We went up to the lady to order 4 brisket sandwiches, and she said they were closed. We loved this place and went back every day just for the atmosphere. It's a fisherman's paradise inside, lots of equipment. We love to support local.
Bout to give 3 star. I asked for live shrimp, the guy told me he couldn't sell them, he had to save them for in the morning.. umm, we'll be here in the morning.. I guess our money wasn't as green?? 🤔 Food & restaurant service is awesome tho. There's plenty of places to buy live shrimp from, don't need yours.
Very nice store, only thing different is the prices aren't on most items. You have to look around and you find the prices on write paper in opposite spots then the items are in. Also a bit pricey, I was going to purchase my wife and I windbreaker jackets till I found out they were 65.00 a piece. The material was the same as the cheap ponchos you by at dollar store.
Enjoyed browsing great place to pick up last minute items before getting in the boat ana heading out.
Fantastic food and service!
Delicious food, friendly service and fresh coffee. I got the sausage skillet. Highly recommend.
Nice fish, nice french fries. Nice service. I liked there, local authentic restaurant. Locals recommended it.
Very local little restaurant...small place with good options and friendly service. Highly recommend if you want to truly go local!
Holy sh*t those shrimp n grits were delicious.
Such a lovely place! Delicious yummy breakfast! They have ricotta donuts that are AMAZING!!! Pancakes, breakfast burritos and coffee was delicious! The service was absolutely amazing and everyi in there was made feel like part of the family! Lovely little place!
Super cozy tent. Friendly service, delicious food. The breakfast is special, extensive and fresh.
Good service but the food was off the day we stopped in for breakfast. Lots of locals and you can sit at the bar and enjoy coffee and they make a good cappuccino. We went on a recommendation but I think in all fairness they were without their regular cook that day.
We were on our way to visit Shark Valley and we were super hungry. Stopped at this place to grab a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was inside the convenient store and they have a good selection of food on their menu to chose from. Staff was super friendly. Food was very good will be back for sure when we head that way.
Fantastic eats you need to stop. Fries were the bomb. Hot and cooked to order.
So glad to find this spot on our way back from our bike ride in the Everglades! I was excited to be able to get breakfast at lunchtime, and hubby enjoyed his Floboy. We also had to try the coffee and donuts! The staff and owner were really nice and told us a little about the place, and we even found a “local” who is also from Illinois! It’s a little hidden away in the store, so I’m grateful for these reviews. Check out more on our trip to the Everglades!
Disgusted with the attitude of the woman behind the counter. Visiting the area and had 45 minutes to kill before going to dinner at Camellias. My husband and I wanted to have a drink and appetizer to try Nellys. As soon as we walked into the restaurant side of the gas station where this is located the woman behind the counter mumbled something to the person behind her at the grill. She started shaking her head and saying no. We were there 45 minutes before advertised closing which is 5 pm. My shocked expression must have caught her off guard bc she backtracked but we immediately said no thank you and exited. It was very uncomfortable, rude and extremely unprofessional. She could have simply said I'm sorry folks, due to lack of business we have closed the grill down for the day. We would have gladly returned over the course of our stay to try it. I would never consider returning nor recommending a business where the employees act as though your business is not wanted. Very embarrassing for my husband and I as we felt we were intruding.
