I went in for Sunday brunch not knowing what I wanted. The proprietor suggested Fetira, which I never had before. It was so good! That plus a strong latte made the morning wonderful. Highly recommend.

Oat and honey latte the bomb. Great breakfast selection. The house ful comes with eggs, lentils, yogurt with bread and salad I will try next time its a big breakfast. Veggie egg and cheese croissant was good. Customer service was great pretty quick for only one person working at the time.

I love the coffee and the service at Tomoka Coffee. As a community organizer in D.C I'm all over the district, and this is one of my favorite coffee stops in the area. When you want a nice hole in the wall, with great service in the fourth ward, this is a perfect option.

I had a wonderful experience at this ethiopian coffee and breakfast shop. Its a routine visit Saturday mornings after playing soccer with the guys. The coffee is rich and aromatic, and the breakfast dishes are flavorful and satisfying. I especially enjoyed the chechebsa, egg silse and kinche with eggs. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic ethiopian breakfast.

This use to be my go-to breakfast spot but there is some iffy about the prices they charge. What’s on the bored, and what they charge person to person. Food is great though for that reason I give them a 4 star.

Stoped in here for a quick bite and coffee. Staff was very friendly. The omelette was good and coffee was great. We also got a sambosa which was good, but I wish it had been warmed up a little.

If you're in the mood for good, strong coffee in a friendly place, come here. Even the decaf is rich and delicious, and their non-dairy options for a latte are good. The food looked delish, too, but we stuck with desserts, which were fabulous. Highly recommend!

We visit from NYC and this coffee shop is always on our list to visit. Great coffee and lattes. Wonderful service, so friendly and warm. We tried a chick pea sambosa this morning - so tasty, with just the right kick.

Walked in for the first time and was immediately welcomed with kindness - I asked for a bagel/egg/cheese… Woman at counter asked if I liked a few different ingredients, then whipped this up (because why would I get a bagel at an Ethiopian coffee house lol). I forget what the food name is, but I love it. Tastes better knowing it was made with intentions♥️
