Great Latte and Oatmeal you have to try!! It’s baked with blueberries and raspberry. Get the cream fresh on top. Best oatmeal I’ve ever had.

I’ve been on the hunt for different coffee shops with good tables and Wi-Fi for remote work, and The Ministry is a great spot for that! They have good coffee and breakfast foods, with great service and friendly staff. The owner took our order and was very sweet and friendly. Our drinks and food were brought to our table and they have good space to do work with outlets and free Wi-Fi for 2 hours. You’re provided a country instead of a table number for your order to come which I thought was unique. I got the iced vanilla latte and the breakfast bun sandwich which is an over-hard egg with cheese and special sauce. Loved my latte and the breakfast sandwich was filling! It was pretty quiet in the morning, we came about 10 minutes after they opened. It got busier around 11am but still had some seating available to grab. This is a great quick stop or a place to sit and get work done as well!

$1.50 up-charge for oat milk, ouch! Staff not clear on the menu and took our order wrong. Latte was bland. The pão de queijo was strange, very oily — I think they’re using an unusual flour and a cheese that’s not sharp enough. Wouldn’t repeat.

The Ministry in Washington, DC, is the perfect place for food, coffee, tea, and wine lovers looking for a cosy and productive space to work remotely or catch up with friends. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of seating options to choose from, including comfortable chairs, large tables, and booths. The coffee and tea selection is top-notch, with a variety of speciality drinks and blends that cater to all tastes. I wanted to love this place but couldn’t get past the stale, earthy coffee. The macchiato was poorly made, I suspect too fine of a grind and well, just too over priced. The two stars is for the avocado toast, it was was delicious and rich, chunky and seasoned well.

I have never been treated so kindly while ordering my morning caffeine! The iced dirty chai was delicious and the breakfast bun was hot and savory and beautifully packaged. What a wonderful environment! Thank you for the great service. I will be back!

Great service. The drinks were fine, but nothing exceptional. It was a decent place to work in the afternoon.

The coffee's very mediocre, and they make a terrible cappuccino. The selection of baked goods is pretty sad, and the muffins, at least, are really bland. The baristas we're quite nice the couple times I was there, though they seemed terribly unorganized. As for the atmosphere... It's as bland as their muffins.

One of the most unpleasant cafe experiences; the blatant rudeness from the staff was astonishing. My wife and I felt unwelcome immediately upon entering. No hello (despite us saying hello), no pleasantries - almost outright hostility. It was evident it wasn't going to get better so we left a few minutes after taking menus from the counter (no offer of menus was made). I note that two other reviewers in the last few months have made similar comments: Daniela Munoz and Htoon Alamri. This is not an isolated incident. Avoid unless you like being treated with disdain.

Friendly service and great coffee. Visited 5 times over a 3-day visit and they had my name and coffee preference after 1 visit. An indulgence normally enjoyed only by more regular customers.

Very cute coffee/wine shop. There was just one staff member there, and she was very courteous and welcoming. The wine we chose was great, ambience perfect, bathrooms really nice too. If you are looking for a low-key place with beautiful decor, The Ministry is the place.

Never interacted with a rude person as the women worked on this Café . After she handed me and my friends masks to put on , she said to guy next to her :”don’t take there orders until they put on the mask”. We already put on the mask !!! What’s wrong with her!!! Just then realizes why the place is so dead .

I am a coffee addict and feel at home at the The Ministry. Great cold brew (they make it there in house) and chill vibe. Also great service, not an assembly line type of place.
