True neighborhood gem! Great atmosphere, comfortable space to enjoy your morning bevies inside or outside in the nice patio. Love to support local small businesses delivering high quality over a chain as well.
The Coffee Bar in DC is a true gem! Their cozy atmosphere and quality coffee make for a perfect combination. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and their pastries are delicious. Don't miss the latte art! Highly recommend for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon coffee break.
If you like coffee, you must visit this place
This place is very popular with locals, so if you're heading during a peak time, be prepared to wait 20 - 30 minutes for your order. There are a variety of coffee-based drinks available as well as some pastries (although I didn't see the prices of those posted anywhere). My hot latte was good, although not the best I've ever had. My main gripe with this place is the expense. For what they are charging, I would expect near perfection. Instead, we were met with just solidly good drinks. I don't know if we will make another trip out of our way to revisit The Coffee Bar, but we might consider stopping by if we were in the area and needed some caffeine.
Great neighborhood coffee shop with a huge outdoor area when the weather is nice. The coffee was great and the staff was friendly. Lots of people doing work on their laptops
I tried their mocha and zucchini bread, they’re both good! I love the amount of foam and the coffee doesn’t taste burnt. Good place to chill. They have an outdoor and indoor seating.
Most people can’t/won’t appreciate the amount of detail that goes into running a craft shop like this. Their coffee is meticulously selected and brewed in a way that is complimentary for that specific bean, down to the micron. The average Starbucks goer won’t know what to call this drink, because the two establishments exist in different solar systems. This is hands down one of the top 3 shops in DC. You can get a sugary candy drink anywhere, but folks, this is a real coffee experience.
Great coffee and enviroment. Relax outdoor corner.
Fantastic coffee. Can't remember the last time I had espresso this good 🏆
I loved my coffee but I don’t see myself coming back very often because there’s no wifi. There were a lot of people on laptops but when I asked about wifi I was met with surprise that I was even asking the question. I don’t know that coffee shops should be expected to have internet, but it was definitely a disappointment.
Really lovely spot! I had a dirty chai and it was tasty and the barista was very kind. I sat outside because it was a nice early March day — the outdoor seating is plentiful, seems to have a good balance of sun and shade, and feels very neighborhood-y. I decided not to get a pastry but regretted it because they looked very good.
Really cute spot! Came here on a Saturday morning and there was a line out the door. The line moved quickly and the staff were friendly. I got a chocolate croissant & a vanilla oat milk latte. Both pretty good! We sat outside to enjoy. I would definitely return!
Here is a unique spot in DC. A spot where the owner is there with her full energy to greet you! The team who works there is incredible as well. You can tell from their smiles that this place IS the place to be! Great coffee, amazing ambiance and, not to be forgotten, great pastries. Love the patio area as well as indoor spot. Very nice place to meet up with people or just hang! The neighborhood is my favorite in town…Don’t miss out on this unique Logan Circle experience…
Love this little gem of a cafe. Only downside is they don’t offer Wi-Fi… which is kinda strange. They still deserve 5 stars though.
The coffee was okay and the place is very cute!! The staff was very cliquish, which was kind of uncomfortable. There are also signs everywhere with stern, specific instructions on which way to walk, which doors to use, how to behave, etc. It’s kinda bizarre.
Nice neighborhood coffee shop that is less crowded than what you might find on 14th. Good, reasonably priced coffee with a decent selection of pastries and a pleasant (albeit small) outdoor seating area. Vibes: 5/5 Coffee: 4/5 Food: 3/5
Warm and cozy ambience. Staff were super friendly. Great spot to work or grab n go. 5/5
While the coffee and staff service is excellent, it seems that they no longer offer wifi for people who want to get out of the house during the work day. Their justification is that they want to "encourage social interaction," but that is not a factor for many who are simply trying to have a nice coffee drink and get some things done during the week. The Coffee Bar can do both, and in the meantime they lose customers to other nearby cafe's that offer wifi.
This is a cute little spot to grab a coffee drink of your liking. The atmosphere is nice for going by yourself to either some some work done, not like a while project, but rather something small. Or meeting up with friends. I have added it to my coffee shop list as a place I would return to if in the neighbourhood.
Very kind staff. I recommend the flat white it is just perfect 👌!
