Simple menu, excellent coffee, intimate setting. It’s almost perfect.
Improvement . I like it now , Nice atmosphere and good cappuccino. I stop by once a wk . They have good selections of single origin coffee .
Awesome
I like this place . They have single origin coffee from Tanzania and , Costa Rica, and Ethiopia. Friendly faces . Right next to my fav place , the White House .
A descent coffee shop across the White House. It has more than 100 years of history. I visited around noon of a Monday and it was not crowded at all.
Taste ur coffee at the cafe in this historic building
Friendly staff and delicious coffee. No mask or vaccination required to stay and enjoy a good cup of coffee. This is the way life should be.
Happened by this when wandering DC and found the atmosphere inviting and cozy. The coffee was the best we had all week.
Some of my coworkers love this place, but I went a couple weeks ago and just noticed that there's a $3 tip charge on my card with my order that shouldn't be there. I would never tip $3 on a $5 drink (no offense to service workers) nor would that have been one of the default options (15, 20, etc -- this is over 50%). Won't be back because of this.
Aesthetically pleasing little shop with a PERFECT little nitro latte. Not too sweet, not too bitter.
One of the best coffee shops! Must visit in the DC area. Their espresso & cappuccino is very good!
A surprising find in such a commercialized area! This is great shop. They made a perfect cappuccino which was smooth and creamy. It is a classy place with retro style and it is worth the stop.
Super delightful and efficient shop, serving up tasty coffee in a rad, old-school environment (I perched at the counter for a couple minutes.)
Excellent coffee. Expensive though!
Definitely one of the best I’ve had in the city. Friendly excellent coffee
They roast their own coffee :) highly recommended!
Swing Coffee Roasters is a roastery outside of DC in Alexandria, Virginia and this was their first DC coffee shop in the city. It's one of the closest coffee shops near the White House and Renwick Gallery and recently reopened from renovations. It's a small shop, but they do a good job of squeezing in enough seating for everyone. They have window seats and small high tables that can sit two people. It's a simply, classy atmosphere with tiles, lights, and a wooden ladder emerging from the seating area into...well...no where. It seems random, but then you realize it hits their overall vibe. The coffee itself is good, rich, and smooth. Their latte is one of the best in downtown DC.
