Best Chai Tea Latte I’ve had! Lots of vegan / vegetarian options here too. Coffee is good too.

Family owned & fantastic spot. I recommend grabbing a breakfast sandwich, coffee & sitting in the back patio on a nice day.

Great vibes and great service from the staff. A hidden gem in DC that is too good to keep a secret. Very cozy and community oriented, with prices from 10 years ago.

One of the best coffee spots in D.C.

Really enjoyed my Roobios ginger tea and the chai tea latte (hot) isn't too sweet which is my preference. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a croissant which was also really tasty. There isn't a ton of seating space so get there early if you hope to get some work done.

Best chai I’ve ever had. Far less crowded than Ebeneezer’s, much softer atmosphere and friendly staff.

Went on my first date with my partner here! There's a coffee roasting ceremony on Sunday's that's really special. Free cup of coffee when you buy a bag and nice hot chocolate (though they may roast you a bit for not getting coffee). Really nice people working there and chill vibes.

Great coffee and great ambience. A little small/crowded, but I’ve never had a problem finding a place to sit with friends. Love the vanilla latte and the chai!

Cool atmosphere. The server was on his own so had to take orders/make drinks/make food all by himself. We had to wait longer than usual but I think he did a great job. The chai was awesome and the vegan breakfast was perfect to get the day going.

worst service i’ve ever received, but the drinks are worth it. i don’t think i’ve ever felt welcomed by the couple behind the counter, but the chai is to die for

One of those places that makes you melt into your seat and feel grateful for life. We were drawn in by the smell of the roasting coffee wafting out of the chimney (pictured) and down the block. Excellent music, warm ambiance, delicious and very very affordable coffee and food. It feels like it’s survived the regime of third-wave specialty coffee and come out thriving. Only in DC for a day but this is a must-go.
