One of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere is very welcoming no matter what time of the day u walk in.
If there was an option to give zero starts then I would. The food was either raw or overcooked. The service was horrible she forgot our order. And made excuses about the menu. She even agreed about the establishment doing a poor job. Highly disappointed! Go across the street to Ichiban. It would be in your best interest. Trust ME!!
My daughter and I went tonight. It had been one of her favorites when she lived in CT. It is really run down, and not that clean. The service was awful... we had to keep finding the waitress. Steak Fritas was excellent. Ceasars salad was about average. The Pad Thai was bland.
Mothers day brunch was overpriced for mediocre food.
Food was decent bordering on good. Service while friendly was very understaffed, not their fault but keep that in mind if prompt service is important to you or you are pressed for time. We ate outside and the dining patio wasn't quite filthy, but give it a few days and it has a shot at it. These folks need to staff up.
Wish we lived closer because everything was so good!! (visiting from New York!) The atmosphere was super chill, the staff was really friendly and laid back and our food was fresh and tasty!! Also, best espresso martini in the game!! 10/10, if we’re ever in the Hartford area again, we’ll definitely be back! :)
My go-to coffee shop/bar in Hartford! Always a great time :)
I took a star off the atmosphere, but am torn on the decision. It's got a really cute cafe vibe, but I think it could be cuter. So call it 4 1/2 stars on atmosphere. The food is fantastic and the staff are quick and friendly. Perfect place to meet with friends. We did brunch and absolutely loved it. Would go there anytime.
I stopped in for a some drink with a few of my guys last night and everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. I even won a few rounds of Bingo 💪🏾 Great vibes
Where do I start? Parking at the moment seems to be tricky at this place they do have a parking lot but you can only really use half of it. Of course I went during Saint Patrick's Day so I imagine there's more parking afterwards. There's also the parking lot across the street as well as the various side streets you could use as well. But enough about parking onto the actual place itself. The original reason I went here was because I've heard such great things about it from my meet up groups so I met someone there and I thought that this would be like a little coffee shop but that's not what it was at all this is more like a bar which if that's your thing than it's an awesome place to be. Unfortunately that's not what I was looking for so that wasn't an awesome place for me to be. I have been told the place is different outside of Saint Patrick's Day however Get there early if you go on Saint Patrick's Day because there was nowhere to sit and I ended up getting nothing as I left shortly after arriving so I can't rate the food or the drinks. Maybe it's different outside of the holidays. I'm willing to give it another try.
Tisane has some of the nicest servers. It is always a delight to get my coffee drink made by Elijah or Jared.
Tried this place recently as a random middle-point meet-up spot with friends. Parking was a little challenging as there is a small side lot, but most of the spots are reserved for the laundromat across from the restaurant. The seating is cozy. Theres a nice liquor bar and coffee bar inside. The menu has a decent amount of variety with vegetarian options. We all split the won-ton nachos, Brussels sprouts, and edamame. The dishes could have used a little more salt but otherwise had good flavor. I'd likely try this place again.
I was taking with my friend outside and an employee came out and told her not to bother me, as if she was a stray dog or something. She's not. She's a human being. I told them "she's not bothering me. You are". Never another dime from me at this place. Their food is way overpriced for what it is anyways. You obviously pay a premium for them to put on their tiaras and go outside and treat people like dogs.
Love the food and atmosphere here no matter what time of day wether for coffee or drinks it has changed over the years not the same as it used to be but the food remains consistent
Wings are bomb. Bartenders are super nice and not afraid to make a great drink.
Tisanes has been my go to for over 7 years. The staff has always been kind, the atmosphere always welcoming, and the food and drink fantastic. I've recommended it more times than I can remember, and it will always be a safe place I go.
Great bar with some interesting and tasty cocktails. Food was great, service was awesome. LGBT friendly
The guides at Mark Twain's house referred me to Tisane, and I'm glad they did. I showed up tired and hungry! Best chai latte I've had in a long time. A generous mug of warm, spicy goodness. Lots of foam. Yum! I ordered the pad Thai with pulled pork, and it was very tasty and a healthy portion. I did not finish it. I left satisfied.
Sunday brunch offered delicious food, tasty teas and very friendly service. They unlock the doors late though so don't arrive right at 10.
Waitress looks nervous and manager 😬 careless. Looks that she didn't want spend more time on me. Thanks I'll never be back again.
