Truly outstanding food. The bbq chicken in their bbq chicken salad was the best I ever had, and my husband was super-impressed with his crave-worthy grilled ham and cheese - fries were perfect, too. Friendly server, really cool place with lots of local history touches - wish I could could go back there right now.

Visiting Trinidad for the weekend . We went in and looked over the menu . I ordered mac n cheese. It did not say they put any garnishment on it . When the mac n cheese arrived it was heavily cover with parsley on it was not on the menu it came this way. I ask if it could be re made without parsley I was informed you will have to pay for both plates. Please inform on the menu it comes with a parsley garnishment if I known it did I would not have order it

If the Marketplace across the street is open, go there. You'll get better food for the same price or cheaper. Las Animas Grill really needs to up their game if they want to compete. Wings were fine, burger and fries were good. AVOID the pesto pasta, super bland and way over priced. Tastes like they add a bunch of spinach to the sauce to cut costs. Fountain coke tastes really watered down. This place has potential, just seems like they haven't quite got it together.

I don’t know how the place got the stars it did. I’ll give the environment a 7/10 being that everything is ran down but still a nice and clean place. My complaint is the food. Never had I’ve had to pay $30 for two people and our food was that bad. Pancakes were still running! My wife’s food wasn’t even fully cooked. Take your chances if you want. I took mine and regret it now.

They remodeled during COVID. It's nice, but I liked the old atmosphere and art. Food is good size portions. Recommend the breakfast burrito or the rib eye. Service is friendly. Parking on side streets, sometimes busy.

We are travelling and love to try new restaurants. We were in the mood for a good juicy burger and saw this place. We stopped in and were seated quickly. The service was very good and our waitress was very nice. We ordered the truffle fries, the poor mans pork belly, the southwestern burger and the bearcat burger. The truffle fries were very good with the perfect amound of truffle to where it wasn't over powering and the garlic aoli was a perfect pairing. The poor mans pork belly was my favorite of the whole meal. It was spicy and tender with so much flavor, literally to die for. The southwestern burger was so good too. It was juicy, fresh and had so much flavor. My partner got the bearcat and said they enjoyed it a lot, juicy and flavorful. This restaurant is definitely fresh and made to order.

Great bar and grill in Trinidad! Friendly staff, yummy food and great atmosphere! Old western building with high ceiling and big windows in front. It was packed with customers when I went. Calm guitar music played in the background. I ordered a burger and Chile fries and Iced tea. It was perfectly cooked.

Besides the fact that they charge $9 for TWO slices of bread (French Toast no sides) the food was so cold when it came out. Very disappointing
