Had a great chat with Ken. His Lavender latte is legit and unique. He also has a great book selection to peruse. Definitely a gem of a place!

We stopped by this place to get a coffee and we are very glad we did. The coffee shop gives some 80s-90s vibes, very beautifully maintained. They have different types of coffees and teas. KEN is a great human, he is very kind, knows his coffee and town inside out. We saw him grind fresh coffee beans and quickly make the coffee upon the order. The coffee tasted out of the world. Ken has a great collection of tea packs, it's definitely expensive and he shared his favorites out of the lot and also let me smell the bags to know the flavors. It's not everyday you get to visit such beautiful coffee shops in cities and meet people like Ken. If you are headed towards RMNP or anywhere else in CO and get to cross Trinidad, spare sometime to stop at Drop City Coffee, it definitely will be worth your time.

1 in million. One of the best cortados you'll have in life. Ask for Ken. Make sure he tells you about Drop City or a story or two from his carni days. Great human. Amazing coffee. So lucky to have stumbled into this place.

A polished gem with a wonderful man in charge. Ken knows his town and his coffee. He also carries some of the world' finest teas and his shop is like a museum, full of antique tea pot sets and other cool art. I live only an hour away so I'll stopping in for sure whenever I head to Trinidad or up the east slope of the Rockies on I-25.

I LOVE Drop City Coffee! It's the best shop in town and probably Colorado! The Superberry tea is refreshing, nutritious and delicious! You have to try it! That guy Ken is pretty groovy too!

Drop City Coffee is the best coffee in town. I live in Loveland Colorado and can’t find any coffee that tastes like Drop City Coffee. Atmosphere is great, good music and good food when available. And I just bought a tea basket with some great tea. (The cutest teapots ever) Drop in get a basket before they sell out. And the barista Ken is great company and very knowledgeable on coffee, teas and the history of Trinidad. Every time I go back home to visit family I make it a priority to drop in get coffee and see Ken.

Must visit Drop City Coffee when in Trinidad. Ken's original Purple Haze is the best coffee I've had in my whole life. The vibe is so nice and if you have time, drop into Lucky's gallery next door to see beautiful artworks.
