For real, this coffee was delicious. I would recommend anyone try The Coffee Cowboy when they're in Telluride. The wait was terribly long for just me (and my well-behaved dog) = 1 coffee. The customer in front of me waved down every person she knew coming off the slope which made her small order turn into a very large one. She kept adding drink after drink to her order which left me standing there thinking, wow, she could have let me go in front of her knowing it's just me and my dog here for a coffee. Her and all the people walking over to her in line started petting my dog, everything was great. So once her 15+ specialty drinks were ordered, it was my chance at the window, or so I thought. I stepped up all excited, only to be told, it's going to be a minute, I have a lot of drinks to make. Yep. So, I had to wait even longer. And, yes, I wanted this coffee, so I did. I waited. Luckily, I was able to really dig in to the menu and I actually changed my mind on what I wanted multiple times, so it all worked out. Heck, I was in Telluride. I got my iced lone ranger, tipped $3 and walked off. The barista was by herself, taking the orders, making the drinks and handing them out. She was hustling that morning and I can appreciate that. I share my thoughts and this story to remind others of social etiquette and to be polite and thoughtful. Peace and Love.

One of the best cups of coffee in Telluride. Friendly service too. Grab one between runs.

My son and I were in line for 15 minutes to get him a hot chocolate after skiing. At 3:59 he said to us (next in line) the people in front of you are my last customers for the day. Very unfriendly and unwilling to compromise for a drink that was already made.

Good quality cofee, price was reasonable and server was helpful. We took a speciality one (Annie ..) and hot coco, both were good.

Right next to the free gondolas, Coffee Cowboy is the perfect place to get some joe before heading out to the slopes or the mountain village. They have 5 or so specialty lattes that rival Yetis Grind in the Vail Valley. I personally love the Annie Oakley (caramel and cinnamon). The baristas are nice and there's no better place to wait for your coffee than right at the bottom of the slopes, looking up the mountain.

Amazing coffee in a great location. beautiful views of the leaves in the fall. As a vegan, I really appreciated the three types of plant milk. The owner is friendly and was very helpful and kind with my pre-coffee morning brain! Support local businesses in telluride <3

Great coffee. Great price. Great location. Just as soon as you get off the gondola you can smell the fresh coffee. Had to have some.

The perfect spot for a caffeine run while visiting Telluride. We had a large group (8 adults) order all at once and the barista quickly had our drinks to us. She was fun to talk to and made some great drinks. I ordered the iced lavender latte and wanted to go back for another. Perfect location right next to the gondola and the river!

The best latte I’ve ever had!!!!! If there’s a long wait be patient the wait is worth it…enjoy the scenery! And If you get a burrito don’t forget the hot sauce!

I was a bit taken aback when I ordered my coffee light and sweet and the barista asked if I wanted “pure cancer” 😆 But the coffee was delicious and a good price for Telluride, so 👌🏻

Drip coffee was too fruity/sour. Espresso drink was good. The most annoying issue in 2022 is this place won't take a credit card without a minimum. Then they won't even just charge the minimum...they want you to buy another drink and if you don't want it "just give it away"??? (and create more litter and plastic waste??) Just left a bad vibe. Won't be back.

Convenient outdoor spot with seating to enjoy the views. Ordered a vanilla latte which was perfectly smooth with the right amount of mild sweetness. Service prompt though not particularly friendly, unlike service I've received in other towns in Colorado. I think the workers are possibly just burned out on non locals.
