Holy moly this sandwich was amazing. I had the salt creek sandwich and even the bread itself was fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back to try some more.

The food and service were both excellent but speaking as a local the prices are absolutly outrageous for breakfast and lunch items. Inflation i understand but price gouging is another.

Nice mountain coffee shop. Make sure to try the awesome avocado toast with bacon & tomatoes. Mexican Mocha is the best.

Fantastic coffee and breakfast burritos/sandwiches. Don’t pass this place up if you need to recharge while you’re traveling

We go at least two to three times a week. Better than Starbucks for sure! Outdoor seating allows pets indoor seating allows privacy. We love this place!

Amazing coffee, amazing ownership and dang good staff! The food is top notch. Give them time, it’s a mountain town - it’s worth it! 3 years running our go-to. Love my Java Moose!

Nasty rude owner. I ate here a few times it was always BAD HORRIBLE COFFEE but I supported this little business until the owner, White short woman who attacked me she tried to run me over with her black ford suv she then called the cops on me because she is drama, even the cops knew she is a bad actress accusing locals about lies, she is lucky I didn’t press charges on her, I gave her $40 so she lets the cops go back to work instead of trying to get locals arrested with lies. She is losing money and losing customers even faster

The food was really good. The salsa is just okay. The lattes tastes like someone took a powdered late packet and added milk to it. I couldn’t taste any coffee.

Finally came to South Park/Fairplay - first stop! Tweeks coffee here totally didn't disappoint - may be seasonal but get the s'mores with the Mexican topping !!! No regrets it was so perfect ❣️🤩No obvious seating besides outside & waiting tho so make sure you plan for it to just be a quick stop unless there was a hidden pathway I didn't take lol 🤣

Love having an unsweetened dairy-free milk option! Went two days in a row for an almond milk latte. Day 1 was great. Day 2 tasted like hot milk. Interesting. But still think this is a great place (despite the vegan tax for milk.)

Great little coffee house! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips about where to go to see some local wildlife. Coffee is top notch. We went in a few times during our week vacation in the area.

The workers are always very sweet and patient even when dealing with a heavy workload, and that's where my stars are coming from. However I have a few suggestions. All coffee shops I've ever been to, both independent and chain stores, do not give an upcharge on milk or milk alternatives in drip coffee. Paying an additional $.50 on top of already overpriced coffee just makes it sting even more. And the wait times are very long, which you're warned about when you enter, however I think if workers were taught some sort of cadence to helping people, wait times can be alleviated a bit, or at the very least customers in line can anticipate how long their wait-time will be. For example: taking a customers order, completing their drink, and THEN taking the next customer's order. When I'm there and there's only one person making beverages and taking orders, they seem to take a few people's orders, make one, take a few more, then start sending out drinks in a different order. Some organization would really help.

Cute little place in a cute small town. Great coffee selection with a small food menu. They have a variety of pastries and baked goods. I had a moose bar which was gram cracker crust, walnuts, coconut, and chocolate chips and it was very large and super delicious. I also had a cold brew which was perfectly balanced. Staff is kind.

My husband and I stopped by for coffee and a quick breakfast. Coffees were good. I accidentally ordered mine hot instead of iced but not anyones fault. However, I found out a short time later I definitely did not get decaf as I know I had asked for. The sausage burrito was decent but my bagels and the cream cheese both were too dry to choke down. Probably won’t go back there.
