Great coffee, staff are nice, and the atmosphere is killer. It's a book store and coffee shop combined, a dream spot.

Got the vibe that there were some men hating feminists here, other then that coffee was good.

Editing to clarify date and time for the owner since I can’t post a reply (thank you for responding, I’m sorry that your business is being affected by lack of good workers /: ) We came in at 9am on Saturday 10/1. The hours are posted as 7am-6pm and the worker said the shop was closing already. She was short when taking our orders. She was the only worker, but there were only 3 customers in there so it’s not like she was overwhelmed/ busy. I was extra nice, but it didn’t make a difference. She threw together 2 bad drinks and moved on to the next customer. He said “I have a couple friends just parking to come in” and she replied “I don’t care. You’re the last one. We’re closing.” I’d go down the road to Coffee Lab. There was also only one worker there (with a line out the door!!) but she was so kind and patient and made us amazing coffees.

The coffee shop and book store were so cute, but hands down some of the rudest people I have ever ran across, their customer service was awful and the coffee wasn't good either. I will never come back here, very disappointing, especially when it's your first time to Crested Butte.

My friends and I wanted good coffee at 5pm on Saturday, October 8. We looked up options on Google and were excited to see Rumors was still open per the hours listed. Part of our group had been there earlier in the day and enjoyed their drinks. When we arrived shortly after 5pm, the shop was closed although there was an open sign hanging outside. We were very disappointed. We understand there is a staffing shortage; however it would be helpful to have it noted online that hours may vary.

Lovely coffee shop and book store. Barista was friendly. Took mine to go :) Google says there’s a drive-through but I don’t think there’s one.

Nice coffee and bookstore, however a very strong LGBT bias including handouts for free pro LGBT books to children. Very narrow minded self help and spiritually sections that seemed almost at a propaganda level. Didn't enjoy the lack of spectrum of ideas.

Nice atmosphere, decent coffee. Took off a star because there are neither reusable mugs nor recycling/compost for the single-use cups.

Book store + coffee shop combos are THE BEST! Grateful for the banging chai latte I got and the ability to read my book for two hours here without feeling like I needed to move for laptop users.

If you do not want to spend time and too much money they have a very good self-service station on the left. $2.50 for a large coffee that is better than other places in town. Well stocked, cozy bookstore next door and outside seating. We go here often while in the area.

Nice and friendly staff and they do have free, albiet very slow, wifi. Don't come in expecting to get too much work done with the very slow wifi. Tethering to my phone signal was stronger!

Great coffee, good WiFi, and super pleasant baristas. I didn’t try any food items, but the coffee is solid. I stopped in like 3 days in a row :)

The group I was with couldn’t help but laugh as we all realized the “turmeric glow” I ordered smelled (and kind of tasted) like a citronella mosquito candle. . . at least, we assume that’s what the candle may taste like. I wanted something with ginger for my wife’s upset stomach, but the ginger level was a little too weak for our tastes. We ultimately had to throw it away half-drank (even though we ordered the smallest size). To add to this already comedic situation, the barista let me know “the lids are terrible” as she handed me the cup. It was leaking hot tea all down the side the whole time we had it. Interesting choice. On the other hand, I do have to compliment the available bathrooms and wi-fi, although the internet is clearly not strong enough for as busy as they are. In addition, the staff was very friendly (appreciated the lid warning). However, based on my drink alone, I probably wouldn’t return.
