Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely went above and beyond to help take care of my needs. As a novice, I especially appreciated the friendly, easy going atmosphere. I definitely feel fortunate to get to shop here.

The Carbondale shop did an excellent job of mounting one new pair of skis and remounting a pair of race skis. The race skis are touchy because there's no adjustment, so they have to be just right. So, thanks very much!! I also love Cripple Creek BC's commitment to community events--races, outings, avy talks, etc. Keep up the good work!

Didn’t pressurize my BCA cylinder properly, they set it to the edge of the green (2500 psi) which is 200 psi less that what it should be at.

Drove to Carbondale from grand junction looking for Backcountry cross country skis. Brandon was a ton of help. He assisted us with finding the correct skis and bindings. He went above and beyond to get the bindings mounted for us in an hour because we drove from grand junction. This normally takes 1-2 business days but they had it done for us in an hour so that we could go out and enjoy the day. If I am ever in the market for Backcountry cross country skis again, I will make another trip to this establishment to purchase them. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you Brandon!!!

Seem like a very knowledgeable staff no discount on that portion of the experience the letdown was the high-pressure sales feel and that I was made to feel like I wasted their time because I didn’t make a purchase that day. Im new to AT and I had an open time slot in my schedule to go in and try to learn about the sport and the gear and my walk out feel was that I had annoyed them … it honestly left me feeling a bit intimidated to even go back

Great service, very knowledgeable. Helped me get what I needed for the winter season, very competitive pricing as well. Also ran into some warrant issues on a Scott helmet. They were able to sort it out and get me another option.

Very frustrating experience. I went in last year to get a new AT setup. They sold me new alpine bindings to work with my new AT boots that ended up being the exact same as the bindings I already had. The boots never worked for me, so I went back this year to get a new pair. Even though they said the bindings they sold me last year would work with the boots- they do not. After further research, I learned the bindings they sold me were not new and do not work with either of the AT boots they sold me. Not willing to take back the bindings they sold me last year. Also, the skins they sold me never really worked either. So, I needed to buy new boots, new skins, and new bindings. Seems like a good local shop, but my experience was not good.

Stopped in for some AT gear mountings, was greeted warmly by Brandon in the store on a Sunday morning. Knowing I was residing quite a distance from the store, he mounted my equipment right away and had me on my way less than an hour later. He also took the time to answer a couple of repair issues I had with my old equipment. These guys are pros. Thanks Brandon, I'll be back for my next purchases.

I was fitted with perfect equipment for me after just a glance and a few questions 🙀 When I went touring with some very experienced friends the next day, I was the only one not in any pain, and was actually able to ski a couple of runs on the resort after. The people who work here are both wonderful and extremely knowledgeable, and the equipment is remarkable. THANK YOU!

New to split boarding and was recommended to come to the Carbondale location due to their expertise on them. Brandon was helping what seemed like 20 people at once and was able to provide the answers and the hardware my board was missing whilst helping everyone else. Definitely recommend for any backcountry needs.

For backcountry skiing, this is the go-to place. They have a great selection, reasonable prices and very knowledgeable friendly and professional service. The Carbondale store has opened up a clothing wing to go with their gear.

Bought some Pomoco skins from Cripple Creek, and was struggling with the tail clip and getting it to easily go onto my ski. I called them up, and VOILA, problem solved in 10 seconds! Turns out it wasn't me, it's the design/materials of the clip but the great staff at CC had an easy 'hack' and it worked. Great place, great staff, etc!!

Fantastic customer service! When I had an issue with a product that was the fault of the manufacturer, the crew at Cripple Creek jumped right in and took care of me. Customer for life!

Ordered a pair of North Face Future light gloves for the upcoming snowboard season. Order shipped 1st business day, had exactly what I wanted and nicely priced. Love supporting a Colorado business as well.

It’s easy to support local business when they are this awesome! I haven’t skinned before and didn’t know where to start. Paul was knowledgeable and patient as he educated me on my different gear options. Tyler was super friendly when he molded my boots. I was anxious to spend that much money on a new sport and never felt pressured to buy anything. I can tell the employees are super passionate and shopped online a bit and saw that it was a better value to buy a package from them than piece together items online. I highly recommend checking in with them if you’re thinking of buying.

These guys were great in working with me from afar. They had a nice sale and let me purchase and hold my new NTN boots until I return to CO. Definitely recommend the boys at Cripple Creek! Tele Ho!

Was having difficulty finding a good skin for someone just getting into touring, CCBC took the time to steer me in the right direction and even offer to adjust the skin before shipping. Even though it was an online transaction it had the feel of an old ski shop where the focus was on skiing not pushing a sale.

Oh man, don't normally leave reviews - but these guys are awesome. Paul helped me pick out a sweet setup for the kind of skiing I'm looking for and was beyond patient and helpful with my plethora of questions and deliberations. Phenomenal service, super friendly, 10/10 highly recommend.
