I don't normally don't give a bad review I usually give five stars. A couple weeks ago I came in and the service was great. Today I came in. I ordered a cappuccino and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The young woman cashiering put the bagel in the toaster and left it in the back. They must've waited on 10 people that came in after me. I then got her attention and said I do not want a cold toasted bagel and she said rudely do you want your money back? We're busy and working as hard as we can. I said I understand that, but I am paying for this. I said I'd like another bagel so she put another one in. I was still waiting on my cappuccino that I ordered probably before the 10 people in line that ended up being served before me I had to ask the other lady for it. She put it on the counter and didn't say a word to me like sorry for the wait or have a good day. I'm sure the owner who I'm sure is a small business owner would like to know my experience that these two women were not polite and friendly . Pretty sad because I like supporting small businesses .
This small family owned business is wonderful. Cute and quante indoor sitting area with a few tables for outdoor enjoyment as well. Thanks and cheers to #TheLocalCup
Great staff, great coffee. I actually drive from Ojai to Oak View to get coffee, rather than get it in Ojai.

Ordered a latte with oar milk. Drove away only to realize dairy had been used instead. The girl behind the counter was less than friendly. Tried to use humour...no response. I understand we all have personal issues that affect how we come off to others, but there's a time when customer relations is more important.
We LOVE this sweet coffee shop our favorite local spot just steps from our house and such a wonderful and kind owner!

Delightful place, but no masks. My drink was delicious, and I really appreciate the gluten-free pastries, but I’ll have to wait for the end of the pandemic to become a regular. The barista wasn’t wearing a mask and neither were the other customers, even the ones waiting inside. I know that’s perfectly legal now, but I’m vulnerable, and the Delta variant makes this an especially bad gamble for me. If you’re the same way, I unfortunately recommend skipping The Local Cup for now.

Stopped in on the way to visit family in Ojai. Had a large chai frap and hubby had a mocha frap. The owner was the one that served us. She was so welcoming and, not that it matters, but she's stunningly beautiful on top of it. The drinks really were delicious. The texture was super smooth (she must have a great blender) and the flavor was perfect; perfect strength of whatever flavoring they use and sweet but not cloying like some frozen coffee/tea drinks.at places like Starbucks or coffee bean. This will be our go-to coffee spot after a long drive to Ojai.
