Despite being tough to find, it's well worth it. Smooth coffee, not bitter at all. Baristsas know what they are talking about and do an amazing job. Sausage maple biscuit, or bacon maple biscuit is on point. Flat white, smooth as can be.
Great beans! Their coffee offerings in the shop are also delicious! I'm sold as a regular!
Beacon is great. They're a little slow, but well worth the wait. They take their time because they are true artists when it comes to coffee. Love this place.
Beacon coffee is a treat on those mornings I find myself in Ventura. The coffee selection is simple and precisely prepared. The tea selection, both hot and cold, are always delightful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pastry offerings are always delicious. Be it a muffin, a hand pie or a small tart, the selection has been different every time I visit. There is always a twist to the selection which makes the pastry unique and memorable. Today's Lumberjack Coffee Cake had a crispy shredded coconut topping and a soft apple cinnamon center. Looking forward to my next visit.
Great coffee, tea's and friends!!
Best coffee in Ventura hands down. The cappuccino is amazingly smooth, not a hint of bitterness, delicious, perfectly poured and served. This is a serious coffee place.
Good coffee.
Very Clean, Super Friendly Staff. I had cold brew and it was extremely tart, just not my taste but, I know a lot of other people like this kind of taste. It's also quite expensive, but I think this is because they make the coffee from scratch. I only recommend if you are into unique-tasting coffee. I just think my taste must be pretty basic 😄
Paid $5 for a drink than taste just like water. I will take my $ somewhere else next time. Maybe the counter girl didn't make my drink right. Because I only tipped 0.50 cents. Can't afford to tip more with the prices of their coffee. Definitely not coming back
Absolute favorite coffee in the world. It trumps every coffee shop in Portland, even. Their coffees slay.
Man! their granola will blow your mind. Great coffee, kind people- over all great experience.
Small shop with great coffee. They also distribute coffee beans.
One of two places I go for coffee beans. A wonderful company that supports our community and communities abroad.
The coffee is quite good- on the pricier side but worth it… as long as it’s to go. I ordered a $4 coffee of the day (plus tip)for here, and I brought my laptop to get some work done for an hour or so. Went to plug in my laptop and there were no outlets anywhere… I asked the barista if there was anywhere I could plug in and she said no. Super bummed to take my coffee to go and be left looking for somewhere else to get some work done. I understand people camp out at shops for too long without continuing to support said business, but that was not what I was planning to do. Guess I’ll have to find a different place to frequent. :(
The coffee here is delightful, really a cut above any other place I've been near and far. Just wow.
nice place workers are so polite and cheerful makes your morning better
Long wait time. Limited coffee choice. No availability to choose bold full flavor.
Enjoyed matcha tea with almond milk. I wish they could offer more types of teas.
Beacon is where my love for coffee began about 8 years ago. It was the first place I had a quality cup of coffee and sent me spiraling into the world of caffeine. Haha, seriously though, they do an amazing job! The owners, John and Jenn are so knowledgeable, open and sweet folks. They set the foundation of what good coffee is, responsible growing and processing with coffee farms around the world, brewing methods and is a lovely place to relax for a bit and enjoy a locally made snack and a hot cup of coffee, espresso, latte, hot cocoa, etc. Come here if you want your eyes opened To the world of tasty coffee. It will ruin your St. Arbucks and 2nd wave coffee forever. 🤣❤☕️
Amazing iced latte with Vanilla. Does not disappoint.
