Great tasting breakfast. Great service.
Truly homey spot with wide range of perfectly prepared breakfast offerings served cheerfully and fast. Conveniently located at 50 and Ski Run.
Little bit of awake for food but place was extremely full and busy who was excellent
Since this place seemed like a Lake Tahoe staple we thought we'd give it a try. We were told there would be about a 25 minute wait, which we thought must be because the food was so good. We ended up waiting almost an hour. Once we were seated I attempted to order the eggs Benedict special only to be told I couldn't because it was out....even though the table next to us was eating it. The food and service was okay. Portions were generous. The restaurant walls and bathrooms were really dirty. Overall just not impressed with this place and next time we are in Tahoe will definitely just stick with going to Ernie's for breakfast.
AMAZING BREAKFAST! My really BIG portion tasted great! I've ordered their own cheese harshbrowns with 3 meats and it was really delicious! I recommend this place for everyone looking for a good breakfast!
This retro themed restaurant was delicious. We were recommended this place by a local.
I guess they take pride in their 15-year-old or for recipe and some people probably never love that but the taste was marginal as was the quality of it and it was kind of expensive.
Food was great, service was okay, the whole place really makes you feel like you're seconds away from skiing.
Incredible place! Tomorrow will be our third time in a row for breakfast. The food is great! Big portions. Excelente customer service! We had a toddler, and they made sure we were all set throughout the entire meal. The prices are cheaper than expected. They accommodate larger parties faster than most restaurants. We were 6 adults and a toddler, didnt even wait 10 minutes. A must go!
Amazing food & Alex was amazing!!!! Definite go to!!!! She was the only waitress handling a restaurant full of customers and didn't miss a dime!!! Loved it.
It's edible and the atmosphere and serive is solid. The food was a real let down. If turn and burn could be attached to food this would be it. Everything tasted and looked like it come from a grocery store pre packaged. 😔😔 The Waffles where cold not fluffy and looked like eggos that someone sat on. When you pay $11.75 for A waffle you should expect more.
Great breakfast place. The Rösti is one of my favorites, I like to order with all meat and 2 over easy eggs on top. Don't forget the jalapeño bacon!
It’s good. Not great, not nasty just “meh”. We went for breakfast and honestly I would have preferred a chain IHOP (and I hate IHOP) than this but the staff was very nice, the place was clean and the atmosphere was great! But the food was something to be desired
Super laid back atmosphere, incredibly kind and fast service, and amazing food. It took 5 minutes from when I sat down to already have my food in front of me. I wish I was here for more than just a day.
Great breakfast or brunch spot. The omelette was juicy and moist. The hash browns were crunchy and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend this place.
Love coming to this diner every time we come to Tahoe!! Great food, great service!!
Friendly servers and staff, and the atmosphere felt like a classic diner with the older decorations, etc. Food on the other hand was not as pleasing as the atmosphere; half-cooked hash browns, waffles that were very much like the frozen waffles from the grocery stores' freezer aisle. wouldn't be a place I'd pick for a treat on a weekend.
Good food. Good service. Specials were amazing. Lots of choices and very accommodating. Wait could be very long, and sometimes food took a bit. But worth the wait, even if pricey
This place is diner food for steak house prices. Food came out very quick though and staff was pleasant.
