Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Freshly roasted in house. Phenomenal service, cool atmosphere, every coffee lover should stop in on their Tahoe visit.

Definitely not the best coffee I've ever had. I will say that the ham and cheese croissant is super delicious. So maybe just try the food?
I love everything about this cute coffee shop. Tlsuper friendly staff. Great coffee! It's not super sweet and in the pumpkin season they use a puree not syrup for the pumpkin lattee with a little honey, so yummy. They have a reward points too which is a nice perk. This is my first choice in all coffee shops of southlake tahoe. It's good to support our local small business. If you love coffee stop at bare-roots . You will return.
Excellent coffee place in town. Absolutely loved the aroma. Friendly owners and are down to earth. Would highly recommend this place. A must visit if you’re a coffee lover!
Try the mocha with no added sugar! Loved the ambience and the location is comfortably close to lake Tahoe, we grabbed coffee on our way back.
Absolutely the best coffee shop in Tahoe, thier raspberry mocha is to die for!! The support local artists, sell their own roasted coffee. Great atmosphere dog friendly, amazing customer service.

The best coffee in town! Justin has a great thing going here with phenomenal coffee, super friendly staff, and clean shop. Their golden chai is stellar. If you think Starbucks has good coffee, do yourself a favor and come get the real deal.
This is a small but interesting cafe. The latte’s here were tasty. I got the honey vanilla latte which was fantastic. The shops located around it looked average.

Delicious coffee and friendly service! I'm only disappointed that we found this place on our next to last day in Tahoe. When we travel we try to avoid Starbucks and other corporate coffee places, seeking out local establishments. After several disappointing coffees during the week we landed here in this small place. Just what we needed! Next visit to Tahoe we will be back!

Expensive with an unfriendly lady at counter, no biggie she messed up my order but some friendliness & a thank you would have been nice.
Service is good, atmosphere good but like most of the other <3 star reviews it's under par. I had a latte and brew. The brew was ok. Slightly bitter and burnt. The latte I had to throw out. Maybe just a poor experience. The basket looked like it had nothing in it while she pulled the incredibly long shot which could explain why it was so watered down. All in all, the brew was OK but the expresso left much to be desired.

Love this little shop. They're great about customizing your order, and they have cool extras like mushroom order and CBD. They support local crafts people with lots of options to buy local art. Their chai tea latte is spicy instead of sweet which is so good - thank goodness I found one lol! bathroom is clean.
Awesome spot to visit for morning drinks and snacks with super friendly baristas. The Ham and cheese croissant is delicious and so is the toasted marshmallow coffee drink.
Fantastic coffee shot with phenomenal drinks. Had an italien soda and some of the best Jerry I've ever eaten. Highly recommend the shop!
