My favorite breakfast spot in Tahoe by far. Great food, friendly staff, vaulted ceilings and a super pleasant space to spend the morning. Omnivores & vegans alike are happy here. 5 stars!

A delightful family restaurant with delicious food and an inviting atmosphere. The breakfast burrito, huevo rancheros, and waffles are favorites but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Loved Ernie's! First time here , been living in Christmas valley for a few years now. Went as two moms and two toddlers. We were made to feel so welcome and they had a great selection of seating options for kids. Our little ones had a blast colouring with the crayons and menus the staff gave to us. Food was good, I really enjoyed my breakfast and my daughter devoured her Mickey mouse pancake. The atmosphere was lovely, it didn't feel awkward to be there with our little ones who were not misbehaving but joyfully shouting hi to each other and anyone who walked by. The serving staff were really friendly, kind and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely come to Ernie's again!
Is ok, but gets busy and the waiters take forever.
Food was amazing, we went in on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. Staff was friendly but busy. I got the Mollete and it was fantastic. I'm a huge coffee lover and they have a "bottomless" coffee, but I only ended up drinking about one and a half cups because the servers were so busy, I had to wait awhile for a refill. Not the servers fault, weekends are busy. I'll definitely eat there again. My kid loved the mickey pancake!
If you like breakfast food this is the place to be. Very clean, and the staff is very friendly. You're reasonably priced for Lake Tahoe

I usually get the Huevos Rancheros, but decided to go with the Mollete today. It was delicious! Featuring chorizo, avocado, hash browns, and all the other yummy things, it's a large satisfying breakfast!
Place is fire. Great coffee (strangely rare in breakfast places). They have wonderful gluten free french toast if you are cursed like me.
